MagSafe phone stand for home working: 비티냐 360° rotating

I received the 비티냐 360° Rotating Portable MagSafe Phone Stand through a reviewer program and used it for several days. I mainly used it while working at home or watching videos on my phone. I had not been satisfied with the stands I used before, but this time, what I liked most was how steadily it stayed put once I set the angle.

What comes in the box?

It arrived neatly packed in a kraft box. The box listed height adjustment, folding, a metal base, and rotation as its features.

Inside were the stand itself, a round magnetic patch, and a small hex wrench. The contents were simple, and there was no separate instruction manual.

How does it look on a desk?

Everything from the base to the arm is finished in black. The round base has a metal-like feel, and the finishing looked neat too. On the desk, it looked like a simple little accessory.

Does it stay stable when you attach a phone and change the angle?

I placed my phone on it and tried changing the angle in several directions. The joints locked firmly, so once it was in place, I did not feel any wobbling. Even when I tapped the desk, the stand and phone stayed where they were in the environment where I used it.

The magnetic hold felt strong too. My phone did not move even when I gave it a light push by hand, and I had to use both hands and some force to remove it. The included magnetic patch was thin, so it did not feel like it added much thickness even when attached over a case.

Is it easy to adjust for videos or video calls?

I could adjust the angle up and down and rotate it side to side. It was also easy to switch from portrait to landscape. Once I found a comfortable viewing angle for a video meeting or video call, it stayed there, so I did not have to readjust it every time.

When was it useful over several days?

When I was working from home, I kept it beside my laptop to check messages and calls. Notifications were easier to notice than when my phone was lying flat on the desk. It was also convenient when I was looking at recipes while cooking or watching YouTube and Netflix, because I did not have to hold my phone.

When watching videos, I adjusted the angle to my eye level. In my experience, my neck did not feel uncomfortable even after watching for a long time. I also kept my phone on the stand while charging it, and it folded up nicely for storage when I was not using it.

After using it for several days, I was most satisfied with the firm joint lock and angle adjustment. At the same time, because the magnet is so strong, removing the phone does take some force.
