Double sirloin steak combo dinner in Munji-dong, Daejeon: Seoreojeong
In short
Seoreojeong Munji Branch (설어정 문지점) is a steakhouse in Munji-dong, Yuseong, Daejeon, serving top blade, flap, sirloin and chop steaks plus pasta and curry at reasonable prices. For a family dinner out, the writer ordered Steak Combo Set C (sirloin + sirloin, ₩57,900) and tomato hangover pasta (₩13,900). The cast-iron pan kept the sirloin steak warm to the last bite, and with Seoreojeong's signature knife even the writer's elementary-school child cut the steak alone. Seoreojeong Munji Branch is a good-value spot for a family steak dinner.

This is my meal review of Seoreojeong Munji Branch (설어정 문지점), a Munji-dong steak spot: Steak Combo Set C (sirloin + sirloin) 🥩🥩 and tomato hangover pasta 🍝.

Where is Seoreojeong Munji Branch, and where can you park?
Seoreojeong Munji Branch is a steakhouse at the end of the stream path by the Hyosung Harrington apartment main gate in Munji-dong, Daejeon, and you can park in front or in the nearby alleys. I heard there was a good-value steak place in Munji-dong, so we went out for dinner.
It's a steak specialist where you can enjoy top blade, flap, sirloin and chop steaks, plus pasta, curry and other sides, at reasonable prices.

Atmosphere and seating at Seoreojeong Munji Branch
The interior is clean wood, with tables for 2 and 4 neatly arranged. One wall displays Seoreojeong's signature knives, which really catch your eye.
The place isn't big, but the tables are laid out well so it's comfortable to eat. (For groups, tables can be arranged to fit your party.)

Seoreojeong menu and what we ordered (prices as of June 19, 2026)
Beyond steak, the menu has pasta, udon, curry, pork cutlet, bibimbap and more, so it's easy to share dishes alongside the steak. I think that's why people call it a good-value steak spot.

Here's what we ordered.
- Steak Combo Set C (sirloin + sirloin) + mini udon + french fries + 1 ade or 2 sodas: ₩57,900
- Tomato hangover pasta: ₩13,900
The kitchen is open, so you can see the cooking area, and how tidy it was made me trust the hygiene. Water is self-serve at the water bar.

What comes in Steak Combo Set C (sirloin + sirloin)?
Every dish at Seoreojeong comes neatly on a wooden tray as a one-person spread, and the food is served in turn. Combo Set C (sirloin + sirloin) comes with mini udon, french fries and an ade, so it's a complete steak meal.

Each steak tray includes sirloin steak, soup, rice with a fried egg, kimchi, fresh wasabi, steak sauce and plum tea, with mini udon or french fries as the side.

Sirloin steak on a cast-iron pan stays warm to the end
Seoreojeong's sirloin steak arrives on a sizzling hot cast-iron pan with onions underneath. The well-grilled steak can be cooked a bit more if you like. Best of all, you can eat it warm right to the end!!
Seoreojeong's signature knife: even a kid can cut steak alone
Cutting with Seoreojeong's signature knife turned out to be fun in itself. I thought only the design was unique, but it slices meat really well, so my elementary-school daughter cut her own steak and ate it happily.

How does the sirloin steak taste with fresh wasabi?
The sirloin is medium-well, nicely seared outside and moist inside, with the beefy aroma intact. It's seasoned from the start, so it's mild and tasty even on its own.
Eaten with the well-grilled onions it's full of flavor, and personally, topping it with fresh wasabi like you would with beef was the best match: the sharp kick cuts the richness and keeps it clean.

Starting with warm soup, eating the steak with rice, and finishing with plum tea as dessert was just right.

Adding the mini udon and french fries that come as sides with the combo set left us full, a perfect steak spread.

How spicy is the tomato hangover pasta?
Seoreojeong's tomato hangover pasta (₩13,900) has a tomato sauce base loaded with ground beef and vegetables, with red pepper added for a spicy kick. It's only mildly spicy, so it was easy to share alongside the steak.

Dinner-time extra: marinated basil tomatoes
If you visit Seoreojeong Munji Branch at dinner time, you get basil tomato pickles as a free side. The tomato's acidity and the basil aroma came through, a fresh palate cleanser.
Seoreojeong in Munji-dong is a place to enjoy a good-value steak spread^^
