We've been more than 10 times, so it's a total go-to! If you order a set menu for 2 or more, you get handmade wood-fired pizza, salad, acorn jelly soup (muksabal) and drip coffee, and the stir-fries are made with 100% chili powder and no capsaicin, so it feels healthy. Is parking easy at Boksakkot Pineun Jip Incheon Branch?

There's a really big parking lot in front that fits about 60 cars, so you can visit without any worry. It's in Susan-dong, near Guwol-dong and Incheon Asiad, and for group or bus parking you just ask the restaurant! Haha This was almost our 10th visit! Whenever we crave spicy octopus stir-fry, this is the first place we think of. Haha

Easy parking is a big plus, but after the meal they also give you drip coffee and other drinks for free, so you can relax out on the terrace with its garden. That's another big charm point. Haha

How were the seating and the weekday evening wait?

Inside there are several 4-person tables, with both chair seating and floor seating, so you can pick whichever is comfortable. The restaurant has two floors, which makes it good for groups too! We came on a weekday evening and got seated right away with no wait. Haha

We were shown to a window seat, and you just look at the menu on the table and tell the staff what you want! Haha

This time we ordered the fire-grilled octopus stir-fry for two (₩35,800) and chose spice level 2, which is said to be 1.5 times spicier than Shin Ramyun. With a set menu for 2 or more you get the handmade wood-fired pizza, salad, acorn jelly soup and drip coffee! You can pick gorgonzola or a seasonal pizza, and we went with gorgonzola. Haha

Besides the smoky baby octopus and octopus dishes, there are also kid favorites like pork cutlet, shrimp fry and spaghetti, so it seems good to visit with children too! Haha

They're also running a Naver Place review event: for every photo review and every save, you get one free bag of rice puffs (ssal-gangjeong). And if you enjoy the food so much you want to take it home, single menu items can be packed to go, so keep that in mind! Haha

What are the side dishes and self-bar like?

Once you order, they set out seasoned bean sprouts, young radish kimchi (yeolmu-kimchi), salad and acorn jelly soup as side dishes. The sides are clean and neat! Haha

The young radish kimchi and bean sprouts are also good mixed into the octopus bibimbap, and overall they're not salty but seasoned just right, so they go well alongside. Haha

Fresh salad and cold acorn jelly soup are an inseparable combo with spicy octopus stir-fry. Haha

If you need more side dishes, there's a self-bar where you can help yourself, and you can also get hot, rich seaweed soup for free! Haha

Soda is unlimited too, with 5 kinds including Coke Zero and Tom's Zero, so we had drinks with our meal. Haha

It's stir-fried over fire in the restaurant's own natural sauce, which adds smoky, fire-grilled flavor, and the savory depth is amazing. Haha

You can mix and match with other dishes, but the octopus here is really plump with a great texture and taste, so we ordered only the octopus stir-fry. Haha

With meals, drinking snacks and kids' dishes all on the menu, it's a fun meal with anyone, which I think is one of the reasons we keep coming back. Haha

When you order the fire-grilled octopus stir-fry, they bring a bowl with lettuce and bean sprouts plus steamed rice. We scooped out some octopus stir-fry, added sesame oil and mixed it all up properly. Haha This is the reason we visit Boksakkot Pineun Jip! ♩♬

How was the set gorgonzola wood-fired pizza?

The gorgonzola pizza we chose for the set is baked fresh, so it's best eaten right when it comes out! The dough is thin, so it isn't heavy alongside a meal, and it's loaded with cheese, so you get a savory, rich pizza flavor! Haha Dipping it in the honey that comes with it is great, and it also pairs perfectly with the spicy octopus or baby octopus. Haha

Where do you get the free coffee after the meal?

After finishing your meal, order a drink at the coffee takeout zone near the restaurant entrance. If no staff are there, just press the bell and they come right over. Haha

They have many kinds of drinks ready, such as Americano, instant mix coffee, iced plum tea, iced tea and chamomile, and they also sell homemade plum syrup, so keep that in mind! Haha We finished the meal on a happy note with a cup of coffee. Haha
