Today I'm introducing a hot lunch spot near Dunchondong Station that I visited recently! It's The Taco Booth Dunchon Park Foreon branch (더타코부스 둔촌파크포레온점), and I loved everything from the exotic, New York-feeling exterior to the deep flavor of the tacos.
What's the atmosphere at The Taco Booth Dunchon Park Foreon branch like?

The Taco Booth Dunchon Park Foreon branch is a New York-style taco shop, and the hip, trendy interior catches your eye right from the entrance. Even before opening the neat door, the exotic vibe had me excited!

It turns out The Taco Booth was featured on 'Master of Living' (생활의 달인), a Korean TV show, as the home of a birria taco master. Seeing the master's nameplate with my own eyes raised my expectations and my trust in the food.

The Taco Booth menu and how to order
The menu at The Taco Booth Dunchon Park Foreon branch lays out a wide range of tacos, sides and drinks at a glance. There was so much variety that I fell into a happy dilemma over what to eat.

Ordering is easy with the kiosks set up inside the shop. You can also order takeout, and once you're seated you can order comfortably from the kiosk at your table!

Tacos are finger food, so I liked that The Taco Booth even has a hand-washing area. It felt like a really thoughtful touch.

What's in the taco platter? Is it enough for two?
The Taco Booth's taco platter comes with five tacos (pork ragu, gambas, birria, steak and chipotle chicken) plus fries, all at once. The portion is generous, so it was more than enough for me and my friend. When the platter finally arrived, it was so packed that my mouth watered just looking at it!

Gambas taco
The gambas taco, piled with plump shrimp, looked fresh and savory just to see. You can top it with fragrant cilantro too, and the flavor was really good!

Chipotle chicken taco
The chicken tossed in spicy, savory chipotle sauce filled my mouth with rich flavor. The cilantro softly tamed the heat, so the balance was great.

Homemade guacamole
The homemade guacamole, generous with the avocado, was smooth and rich with a fresh taste, and it went really well with the tacos!

Birria taco from 'Master of Living'
The famous birria taco, one of the platter's five, comes out very crispy and golden, and I loved its distinctive cheesy aroma.

The juicy meat, the cheese and the crispy shell work together so well.

Topped with cilantro, the herb's aroma made it taste really upscale and delicious!

Fries
The fries that come with the platter were crispy and freshly fried, and I kept reaching for more! I think they'd be perfect with a beer at night too!

Steak taco
The steak taco, piled with thick steak, was tender to chew and delicious. A squeeze of lime added a fresh note! The black, moist and warm tortilla tasted healthy, nutty and tasty, which made it even better!

If you like cilantro, pile it on
With fresh guacamole and fragrant cilantro added, the balance of The Taco Booth's tacos, already tasty on their own, came together even better. If you usually like cilantro, I recommend piling it on! I love cilantro, so I added extra and it was even more delicious!
