Where is Lims (Rimseutu) in Dunsan-dong, Daejeon?

Lims is a lash extension salon on the 3rd floor of Hyangchon World Plaza, near Galleria Timeworld in Dunsan-dong, Daejeon. I went to a salon that does natural-looking lash extensions, Lims! For parking, use floors 2-6 above ground in the building's car park 🚘

Lims is a shop-in-shop, so it sits inside Maldives Tanning. It's right there on your right as you walk in 🙂

Inside Lims: a cozy one-woman salon

Lims is a solo salon where the head owner works with you one-on-one, so the space itself is small and cute haha

⭐️ Heads-up: if you search Lims or 림스 in Dunsan-dong, another lash salon called Rimseutu (림스투) also shows up. I'm told it's run by the same owner, so keep that in mind!

The one I visited is Lims 1. Lash extensions are the main service, and they also do lash perms and semi-permanent eyebrows :)

It's a small space, but there's a vanity where you can check your lashes and a waiting area too!

The treatment bed is in the back, haha. It isn't a plain hard bed; it's slightly contoured (ergonomic, I guess?) and so comfortable••

Cleanliness goes without saying ➰ And the pillow had a funny shape, but it was super comfy hahaha

What is a perm-point extension?

The treatment I got at Lims this time was a "perm-point extension". After a lash perm, single extensions are attached naturally, strand by strand, where the lashes are lacking! It was a total winner for people who find a plain perm not enough but full extensions too much.

Two years into lash perms: why I chose perm-point

I've been getting lash perms for about two years now, so my lashes have gotten much thinner and keep falling out, and a perm isn't as dramatic as it used to be 😭 Full extensions felt like too much, but then there was an extension made just for me, so I booked it right away haha

Perm-point extension results and time taken

The whole perm-point extension at Lims took a little over an hour. And the result 🤍🤍 In photos it looks like I just had a lash perm 😭 but in person it's genuinely natural, glamorous and pretty ••🥹

The reason I avoided extensions was that I disliked the slightly artificial look, but perm-point had none of that and looked so natural. Best of all, the extensions are attached to the lashes that were lifted by the perm, not just to flat lashes, so even from the side they curl up prettily like my own! I was so satisfied 💕

One week after the treatment

It's been about a week since my perm-point extension at Lims. There's no discomfort in daily life and my eyes feel just as comfortable as before 👍🏻 The owner was so kind and professional too, so I was relaxed the whole time!

I'd only ever had perms, but I feel like I'm about to fall into the world of extensions haha. If you want natural-looking extensions, I recommend Lims in Dunsan-dong, Daejeon 🤍🤍
