Why we chose Kuu Kuu Nowon when my boyfriend and I wanted different food

Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch (쿠우쿠우 노원점) is the Nowon sushi buffet we picked when my boyfriend and I wanted different things. When that happens we naturally end up at a buffet, haha. You can eat lots of different dishes in one place, so we both always eat happily~ This time we went to Kuu Kuu Nowon, a place well known as a Nowon favorite~

Where is Kuu Kuu Nowon, and is there parking?

Kuu Kuu Nowon is on the 6th floor of Seoul Oncheon Building on Nowon-ro, and you can park in the building car park for up to 2 hours. It was right there on the 6th floor of the building~

We could use the building car park with up to 2 hours of parking, so the visit was easy^^ If the car park is full, you're told to use a nearby paid car park.

Can Kuu Kuu Nowon host a family gathering or first-birthday party?

I heard Kuu Kuu Nowon has recently become a popular spot for family gatherings in Nowon~ Events like a first-birthday party (dol) or a 70th-birthday party are said to be possible too, so that's worth knowing :)

How much does Kuu Kuu Nowon cost?

Adult prices at Kuu Kuu Nowon are ₩27,900 for weekday lunch, ₩31,900 for weekday dinner and ₩35,900 on weekends and holidays. Lunch and dinner are split at 5pm.

What sushi and sashimi does Kuu Kuu Nowon have?

The raw fish corner at Kuu Kuu Nowon has a variety of sushi, rolls, sashimi and cockle bibimbap (rice mixed with seasoned cockles). Sushi is surely Kuu Kuu's signature, right?! This branch even had some kinds of sushi I hadn't seen at other branches I visited recently, which made me even happier, haha.

The thick-cut salmon sushi I remember most

What stuck with me most at Kuu Kuu Nowon was the salmon sushi. The salmon on top was cut thick and big, so every bite felt full and generous~ The salmon's soft, rich flavor came through well, and I kept going back for more. If you love sushi, I could totally see why people recommend this Nowon spot, haha.

Kuu Kuu Nowon's food stations and atmosphere

The food corners at Kuu Kuu Nowon were neatly arranged with lots of variety! You could see many dishes at a glance, and I honestly struggled to decide what to eat first, haha. Whether you come with family, friends or a partner, the setup lets everyone eat to their own taste~

How are the grill and fried food stations at Kuu Kuu Nowon?

The grill corner at Kuu Kuu Nowon had more variety than I expected!

Best of all, the grill dishes were kept warm, so they tasted even better~ The food didn't go cold as time passed, so you could taste it as it should be, which I was especially happy about, haha.

I didn't get it in a photo, but there were also several kinds of fried food, so picking and choosing was fun.

What desserts does Kuu Kuu Nowon have?

Desserts at Kuu Kuu Nowon reportedly include ice cream, bead ice cream, patbingsu (shaved ice with sweet red beans), waffles and fruit. Near the end of the meal my boyfriend brought back dessert! He said there was a good variety~ It was nice to have everything from the meal to dessert in one place^.^

Is Kuu Kuu Nowon worth going back to?

Overall, at Kuu Kuu Nowon we could eat a wide range of dishes to our own taste. Besides the salmon sushi, the thick-cut fish on the other sushi and the warmly kept grill dishes stayed with me too. It's a place where a group can each eat what they like comfortably, so if you're looking for a Nowon favorite, it seemed worth a visit at least once!
