Seoulsup date burger spot: pollock roe mayo & ranch at Bas Burger
In short
Bas Burger Seongsu is a handmade burger restaurant with terrace seating near Ttukseom Station and Seoulsup Station in Seongdong, Seoul. On a weekend lunch, the writer ordered two Bas Burger sets (12,200 won each), a 5,800-won Bas Lager and a 3,700-won Chili Mozzarella Cheese Bar, eating the burgers with pollock roe mayo, ranch sauce and coleslaw. Bas Burger Seongsu is a Seoulsup date spot where a mild patty, switched up with sauces and coleslaw, stays enjoyable to the last bite.

Bas Burger in Ttukseom, a Seoulsup favorite and a great handmade burger spot for a Seongsu date.
So many people are looking for good places around Seoulsup these days, right? I always agonize over where to eat whenever I go to Seongsu, but this time I tried Bas Burger Seongsu, a handmade burger place that was good on both atmosphere and taste.

Bas Burger Seongsu hours and location
Bas Burger Seongsu is open from 11:00 to 21:15, with a break from 15:00 to 16:30 on weekends. Last order is 20:30 on weekdays and 20:00 on weekends.
It's a 5-minute walk from both Ttukseom Station and Seoulsup Station, so it's a very convenient Seoulsup restaurant near the subway -

Atmosphere at Bas Burger Seongsu: good for a date?
Inside, Bas Burger Seongsu keeps that free, hip Seoulsup-area vibe without feeling too chaotic, so it was comfortable to hang out in.

I visited around weekend lunchtime, and it was full of that relaxed weekend afternoon mood..! The weather was nice, so lots of people were enjoying burgers outside on the terrace :) From couples out on weekend dates to families, the place was busy, which made me even more excited for a Seongsu handmade burger spot -

What we ordered at Bas Burger Seongsu and the prices
- 2 Bas Burger sets (₩12,200 each)
- Bas Lager 400ml ₩5,800
- Chili Mozzarella Cheese Bar ₩3,700
After ordering quickly, I did the best part of Bas Burger! I grabbed potato chips from the self-serve chip bar and enjoyed them as an appetizer -

How does the basic Bas Burger set taste?
Here comes the hearty stuff! The Bas Burger set comes with fries and a drink, so it's a filling lunch. I order it this way every time I come to Bas Burger, and even the basic Bas Burger is great quality, so I'm always very satisfied.

The patty isn't too strong in flavor and stays pretty juicy, so you don't get tired of it. The bun isn't overly thick either, so the overall balance feels good!

Above all, I think the fresh patty and fresh fillings you only get at a handmade burger place are Bas Burger's real strength. The burger has a decent thickness that isn't awkward to eat, which I liked too.

Which Bas Burger sauce to pick? Pollock roe mayo and ranch
At Bas Burger Seongsu you can choose your sauces by type. Dipping in whichever flavor you like changes the taste a little each time, which helps you finish the burger without getting bored :) I love the pollock roe mayo (myeongran mayo) and the ranch sauce!

Besides the fries that come as a side, the coleslaw cuts through the greasiness of the burger every so often, so please do have some coleslaw with it :)

Burger and Bas Lager: a weekend daytime beer combo
Bas Lager is Bas Burger's signature beer, ₩5,800 for a 400ml glass. Did you know a burger and beer combo is incredibly good together..!
Bas Lager is a lager that isn't too heavy, so it was perfect as a weekend afternoon daytime beer. If you're looking for a Seongsu date spot, I totally recommend enjoying the burger + beer combo together! 🍔🍺

How spicy is the Chili Mozzarella Cheese Bar?
The Chili Mozzarella Cheese Bar (₩3,700) is called chili, and it was spicier than I expected. Oh, and I also tried the Chili Mozzarella Cheese Bar that's so trendy these days, and it is totally beer snack material!
It's crispy outside with rich cheese inside, a good side to add when a burger alone feels like not quite enough. I especially recommend it to anyone who likes spicy flavors...★
That was Bas Burger Seongsu, a handmade burger place I recommend for Seoulsup and Ttukseom Station. How about enjoying it as a date course at a handmade burger spot that isn't too heavy-handed in flavor~?
