I went back to Oreudeubi (오르드비), a hair salon in Sangwangsimni, for what might be my last haircut before giving birth. (Maybe one more time..?) Four months ago I was cut by a different designer, but this time only one designer was available at the time I wanted, so I booked through Naver and went :)

Can't decide on a style? 1:1 hair consultation

The good thing about Oreudeubi is that even if you haven't picked a style, they offer a 1:1 hair consultation! It was pouring rain and I worried about getting there, but luckily I arrived at the salon with my shoes just barely not soaked..! I had looked at lots of layered cut photos and reviews beforehand, but I was so happy they advised me based on my situation and hair length haha.

This is my hair before the cut,, Being pregnant makes moving around hard, so going to the salon got even harder,, and more of a hassle,, I think this is the longest my hair has ever been lol

Length advice for someone about to give birth

My request was to thin it out a lot and cut the length to where I can still tie it back, since washing and drying hair gets hard. My designer has an older sister who recently gave birth, so she understood my situation right away and, perfectly on point, advised me on how to cut it haha.

She even gave me a reality check lol, saying that once I cut it today I wouldn't be able to grow it past this length. Hair care gets harder, and the baby keeps yanking at your hair and so on lol.

The length is just right and the hair is lighter~ and when I tie it back, the side bangs neatly cover the sides! She also showed me how to use a curling iron and rolls for this cut, which I loved.

How was the scalp massage during the shampoo?

The scalp massage during the shampoo at Oreudeubi felt so refreshing. The pressure was amazing (so much that I wanted to bring my husband, whose scalp runs hot..lol)

Prices at Oreudeubi Sangwangsimni Station Branch aren't very high and there's a VIP membership, so if it were closer I'd have gone more often. Naver Booking shows plenty of info like autumn event discounts, dye events and first-visit discounts, so check those before booking. You can choose your designer too, though it varies by day, so thumbs up! There's also lots of style info to browse before you go.

I hope I can come one more time before the baby to cut it even shorter!!! haha. I highly recommend Oreudeubi for kind, careful, pretty hair.
