Shrimp soy rice bowl set near Gangseo before fireworks: Hekbap
Hekbap Kkachisan Branch is a Japanese rice bowl and noodle restaurant one minute on foot from Exit 3 of Kkachisan Station (Line 5) in Gangseo, Seoul. Before heading out to watch the Hanwha fireworks festival, the writer ordered the shrimp soy sauce rice bowl set for ₩16,900, jaru soba for ₩10,000, and a mini okonomiyaki for ₩3,000. Mixing the 12-hour-aged shrimp soy sauce with a soft-boiled egg yolk into the rice was the highlight, and with a solo-dining zone and a kids' chair on hand, it worked well no matter who you brought along.
