On the last day of my Jeju trip, I went to Bijarim and decided to take a little break before heading toward Jeju Airport.

While looking for a café where I could rest with a sweet dessert, I found Lala Cafe, which is famous for apple mango bingsu. Let me tell you about this life-changing bingsu!
Lala Cafe location and basic information
Lala Cafe is about five minutes by car from Eco Land. It is three minutes from Surprise Theme Park, and it is easy to stop by while traveling a route that includes the Jeju Stone Park, Sangkumburi, and the Samdasoo Forest Trail.
The dedicated parking lot in front of the café is spacious, so there is absolutely no need to worry about parking.
A red-brick exterior and a comfortable interior

Lala Cafe was lovely from its red-brick exterior onward.
Inside, it was decorated with warm lighting and comfortable seating,

and the large windows let me take in the view outside.

The whole interior was kept so clean that it was perfect for spending some unhurried time.
Drinks and same-day bakery items

Lala Cafe has a wide range of drinks, from coffee and ade to smoothies and tea. The coffee uses Fritz Coffee Company beans, apparently.

There were lots of bakery items too. Everything is made and sold the same day, and the fig campagne in particular is a bestseller because it uses Jeju-grown figs!

Why I ordered the fresh Jeju apple mango bingsu
But the menu I was most curious about here was, of course, the Jeju apple mango menu. Lala Cafe says it handles only apple mangoes produced at Jeju Theme Farm, which supplies The Shilla Hotel.
Jeju apple mangoes are produced only from April through November, so I just had to try them. I ordered the fresh Jeju apple mango bingsu for two (₩49,000).
What the apple mango bingsu on milk snow ice tasted like

At last, the apple mango bingsu arrived.
It was generously topped with apple mango over milk snow ice, and the mangoes were so glossy...

They also gave me a card explaining how to eat the bingsu and describing the fresh mango bingsu.

They even made sure to include the flesh clinging to the pit so I could eat it, haha.

It came with condensed milk and mango purée as well, so you can add them however you like.
Honestly, I have eaten a lot of mango bingsu, and I have had mangoes in Vietnam too, so I wondered, “How different can mango really be?” Since it was pricey, I was also curious whether it would taste worth it.
But after one bite of mango... 😇 It was on another level!

First of all, the mango aroma itself was intense, and the sweetness was insane. It simply melted in my mouth.
You know how people often say fruit tastes on another level in Southeast Asia? Jeju apple mango is on another level too, lol.

Eating it with the milk snow ice felt like having a luxurious dessert. Is this The Shilla Hotel? 🥹
Drizzling the mango purée over the milk snow ice made it sweet and delicious.

Came to Jeju and found a life-changing bingsu!!
Lala Cafe apple mango bingsu: final thoughts
The Shilla Hotel’s apple mango bingsu costs ₩130,000 in 2026, you know. Of course, I have not tried it myself, so I cannot simply compare the taste or composition, but mango bingsu of this quality for ₩49,000 is really worth trying.
I have eaten many bingsu in my life, but this was the most luxurious and delicious. I might actually have regretted not having it, haha. If you are looking for a café while visiting Eco Land, Jeju Stone Park, or Surprise Theme Park, or traveling during Jeju apple mango season, I recommend trying it.
