Monthly Beer Guro Digital Complex Station Branch (월간맥주 구로디지털단지역점) is a bar in Guro Digital Complex ("Gudi") with a big reputation for tasty bar food and good value. To blow off a whole week of stress, nothing beats a cold drink with people you get along with~ This weekend I went after work with friends, and I found a hangout I love, from how the food looks to the prices!!

The moment it arrived, our jaws dropped at the generous amount and the look of it!
There are 4 dipping sauces! And since it can feel greasy, it even comes with pickles, such a thoughtful touch.
The first thing we tried was the Monthly Fried Special Platter: all sorts of crispy assorted fried food piled up to overflowing on one big platter, a total bargain of a dish! It came out freshly fried, crunchy outside and moist inside, and the texture of the batter was art. With french fries, fried chicken, dumplings and more, picking through it was a joy, and there's no better partner for beer~
Everyone must have been starving, because the chopsticks never stopped…
How about fire pork gristle with soju?
We ordered Monthly Beer's fire pork gristle (불오돌뼈) as an extra because we were craving something spicy, and it made me think of a bowl of rice… The gristle has that signature crunchy bite, and the fiery, addictive spicy seasoning soaks in deep. One bite and you shout "it's definitely soju time!" A sure-win soju snack!
