Charcoal cleansing balm for blackheads: HEEDA Jirisan Moist
In short
HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal Cleansing Balm is a Korean cleansing balm tested after its first use. The writer rolled it onto dry skin for 30 seconds, then added a little water and observed less-visible whiteheads and lighter-looking blackheads. Verdict: a comfortable first use, with longer-term results still to be seen.

How did I use the HEEDA cleansing balm?

At first, I gently rolled it over my whole face without adding water. After rolling for about 30 seconds, I added a little water and rolled over the areas where sebum was bothering me one more time.

It felt oily yet soft when rubbed between my hands, and when I scooped it out with the spatula, it looked like a mousse-like formula.

Was the container and included setup easy to use?

It came in a matte black case with a cap-style lid. A spatula was built in, and after use, I could store it in the groove on the lid, which felt convenient.

How did my blackheads look after the first cleanse?

After the first cleanse, I wrote that whiteheads were barely visible to the naked eye and that blackheads seemed a little lighter. It felt more comfortable than forcibly squeezing out sebum, but since I have used it only briefly, I plan to watch for longer-term changes.

Can I use it every day?

I thought products with high acidity could be irritating when used every day, so I recommended using it every other day. Skin reactions can vary from person to person, so it is best to adjust the frequency according to your skin condition.
