In short
AutoGrooming Car Oil Film Removal Set is a car-glass cleaner tested at a self-service car wash in Korea. After a high-pressure wash, rubbing it onto the glass took about 15 minutes, and the included towel was handy. Verdict: I felt the glass looked different afterward, with plenty of product left.

Why did I try removing the car's oil film myself?
Ahead of Lunar New Year, I went to the car wash with my dad. This time, since I had been given the product, I decided to try removing the oil film from the car myself. I got so confused just using the car-wash card that Dad took charge of the wash while I handled tapping the card.

I use automatic car washes often and replace the wipers regularly, but things would be fine for a while and then the noise would come back. As I looked into the cause, I suspected the oil film—a greasy layer that forms on the glass surface—so I decided to remove it during this wash.

What comes in the AutoGrooming oil-film removal set?
The product I used this time was the AutoGrooming Car Oil Film Removal Set.

When I opened the box, the components were neatly packed inside. A towel was included too, which was handy because I did not need to prepare one separately.

What order did I use the oil-film remover in?
The process was simpler than I expected. After removing moisture from the glass, I applied a suitable amount of product and rubbed it in until the product was no longer visible on the glass.

I was worried that rubbing while debris was still left on the glass could cause damage, so I started after washing the car with high-pressure water first.

Dad took care of the high-pressure wash and snow-foam wash.

Meanwhile, I opened the product packaging and looked at the doll Dad had brought as a gift, too.

Was it difficult for a first-timer? How long did it take?
After finishing the wash, I properly began removing the oil film. At first I thought it would be difficult, but once I tried it, it was manageable enough for me to do myself.

You do have to keep rubbing with your arm, but I liked how simple the apply-and-wipe process was. I finished by wiping until the product was no longer visible on the glass, and the oil-film removal took about 15 minutes.

How was the glass afterward, and how much product was left?
After I finished, I felt the condition of the glass had changed.

Even after one use, there was still quite a lot of product left. Dad said he wanted to try it on his own car too, so I gave him the remaining product. Ahead of Lunar New Year, it was an experience of washing the car together and trying oil-film removal myself as well.
