Izakaya in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul for lamb ribs and grilled mero: Nani
In short
Nani Yeouido Branch is an izakaya in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul, about a two-minute walk from Exit 3 of Yeouido Station. I reserved ahead and had the lamb shoulder rack and grilled mero in a private room with a window view; both dishes were satisfying, while the private setting and kind guidance stood out most.

I wanted a relaxed dinner, so I reserved Nani Yeouido Branch (나니 여의도점) in advance. I had visited before, and this time too, I liked its private room layout and view through the floor-to-ceiling windows.

How do you get there from Yeouido Station?
Nani Yeouido Branch is on the third floor of the S-TRENUE Building, about a two-minute walk from Exit 3 of Yeouido Station. Its address is 37 Gukjegeumyung-ro 2-gil, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, South Korea.

The hours listed in the original post are 5 PM to 2 AM, with regular closure on Sundays. Naver reservations and group gatherings are available, along with parking and Wi-Fi. The men's and women's restrooms are separate.
A menu was set out at the entrance, so I looked over the options before going in.

What were the room atmosphere and seating guidance like?
Because I had reserved ahead, a staff member welcomed me kindly at the entrance. I was shown to a seat with a good view that day. I liked being able to dine privately in the room-style space, and it also seemed like a place to consider for a date or gathering.

What is on the menu and how much does it cost?
There were many main dishes, so I had trouble deciding. Options included yakisoba (fried noodles), stir-fried pork and bean sprouts, stir-fried udon with pork belly, and seafood okonomiyaki (savory Japanese pancake). Assorted sashimi was listed at ₩35,000 per person, ₩60,000 for a small, and ₩100,000 for a medium. That day, I ordered the lamb shoulder rack and grilled mero.

How were the texture and sauce of the lamb shoulder rack?
The lamb shoulder rack uses chilled Australian lamb ribs and cost ₩43,000 for three ribs. It came with a house basil sauce and hyangsinjang (seasoned sauce).

It arrived on a pan so we could keep it warm as we ate. The outside was nicely browned, while the thick meat inside was tender. The fat and lean meat worked well together, and the aroma of the generously served basil sauce paired with it nicely.

How was the grilled mero I ordered with it?
I also wanted grilled mero in a Japanese izakaya style, so I ordered it as well. It cost ₩28,000 and came with fresh wasabi, pickled ginger, rakkyo (pickled scallion bulbs), and lemon slices.

The mero had a rich, nutty flavor, and the thick flesh had a satisfying chew. The fat in the skin was just right for my taste, so I enjoyed it. Of the two dishes, it was the one I kept thinking about afterward.

It was an evening where I could leisurely enjoy foods I like. I appreciated the kind service and private room layout, and I would like to return when I want to dine in a similar atmosphere.
