MagSafe phone stand for working from home: 비티냐 rotating stand

While working from home, I needed a stand to keep my phone upright on my desk. I tried the provided 비티냐 360-Degree Rotating Portable MagSafe Stand so I could use it while watching YouTube over a meal or working while listening to a class.

What were the packaging and contents like?

When the delivery arrived, the box was smaller than I expected. The front of the box simply listed key features such as 360-degree rotation and MagSafe compatibility.

Inside were the stand itself and a MagSafe magnetic sticker. I liked that the packaging was not excessive and the contents were simple.

How were the desk design and magnetic hold?

The surface is metal black, and it did not pick up fingerprints easily during use. Its design did not stand out too much on my desk.

When I brought my iPhone close, I could clearly feel it snap onto the magnet. It did not slide when I touched the screen or adjusted the angle, and it stayed securely in place when switching between landscape and portrait. If you use a MagSafe case, you can use it without an extra ring, and a magnetic sticker for unsupported devices is included as standard.

What was disappointing during use?

It is portable, but it has some weight to it, so it is not an ultralight product. Still, I felt that weight helped make it stable when set up. Non-MagSafe devices need a separate case or sticker, and a thick case may make magnetic attachment difficult.

The screws can be adjusted with an Allen wrench. Since I use MagSafe, I did not find any major inconvenience apart from its weight and compatibility requirements.

When were the rotation and height adjustment useful?

Without removing my phone, I could turn it by hand to switch between landscape and portrait. It was easy to adjust quickly for watching videos, video calls, or online classes. It was not loose when rotating and had just the right amount of resistance, so it was easy to stop it at the angle I wanted.

The height could also be adjusted to suit my desk setup. At a low height, it worked well in front of my keyboard, and when I raised it to eye level, I felt less strain on my neck and shoulders.

How was it for foldable storage and using during meals?

When I was not using it, it was easy to fold and put into a drawer or bag. It has weight, but its foldable construction made it easy to store.

It was also useful for watching YouTube on my phone while eating. With the angle set at eye level, my neck did not hurt while using it.

The stand did not slide or wobble even when I touched the screen. For my use, I was pleased with its stability on the desk and the fact that it folds away for storage.
