Car wash products for Benz cleaning: AutoGrooming AutoGrooming 3

I received the three AutoGrooming AutoGrooming Cube Wash Line products and used them to wash my Benz. I let the grime loosen with a pre-wash, sprayed on foam, then wiped with a mitt to see how much exterior dirt would come off.

How did I prepare the cube-shaped bottles?

The products are introduced as 800ml bottles, and the cube-shaped design caught my eye. An attachment that fits onto the bottle was included to make pouring the liquid easier.

I opened the cap and checked the inner seal. Once the seal is removed and the attachment is fitted, the liquid is easier to pour.

When I opened it myself, I found double sealing. After removing the seals, I fitted the attachment in the indicated direction inside, twisted on the cube cap, and finished getting everything ready.

How do the three car-wash products differ?

The line consists of an alkaline pre-wash, a mildly alkaline car shampoo, and an acidic cleaner that works as both a pre-wash and car shampoo. I used them separately according to the wash stage.

Indigo Core Pre-Wash is an alkaline pre-wash, Red Dissolve Dual Wash is an acidic shampoo and pre-wash, and Blue Edge Shampoo is a mildly alkaline car shampoo.

How did I clean the wheels and inside the doors?

As I started washing the Benz, I cleaned the wheels first, working into every corner where brake dust had built up.

I opened the doors and cleaned the inner gaps too.

How did I prepare the pre-wash and foam spray?

Since the products are used diluted with water, I poured the alkaline pre-wash into a dedicated bottle.

The alkaline pre-wash was introduced with dilution ratios of 1:10 or 1:20. I added the liquid to the bottle and topped it up with water.

I prepared the acidic product for spraying through a foam cannon.

Depending on the situation, the acidic product is introduced at 1:10 or 1:20, or 1:100 to 1:200. Since I planned to spray it with a foam cannon, I mixed it a little stronger.

How much grime rinsed away after the pre-wash?

Before getting into the main wash, I sprayed the diluted alkaline pre-wash over the car.

I saw that it was described as containing no sodium hydroxide, so I felt less burdened when spraying it on the painted surface. I also wanted to check the condition of the paint and see how much dirt actually came off.

I left the pre-wash on the vehicle to loosen the grime.

While waiting, I mixed the mildly alkaline car shampoo into a bucket of water. Then I sprayed the car with high-pressure water, and some of the exterior grime loosened by the pre-wash rinsed away.

Did the remaining grime come off after foam and mitt cleaning?

After rinsing with high-pressure water, I sprayed snow foam. The scent was pleasant too.

After spraying the foam, I left it for a moment to loosen the dirt once more. Then I wiped the vehicle, still covered in foam, with a mitt.

Each pass of the mitt made the grime I had seen earlier disappear. The areas that had been bothering me also came clean during this wash.

I cleaned the gaps with a dedicated brush. Blue Edge Shampoo produced rich foam and felt like it gently wiped away the grime left after the pre-wash.

I had wondered whether I would need paint cleaner if grime remained after washing, but this time the exterior dirt that had bothered me came off without using it separately. I also liked that I felt no scratches had appeared during this wash.
