LOOOP Bakery in Seongsu: opening hours and parking

LOOOP Bakery (루프 베이커리 카페) is at 9-13 Yeonmujang 5-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, and it is open every day. Coffee, drinks and wine are served from 9:30 a.m. until 2 a.m. the next day, and the bakery runs from 12 p.m. until 2 a.m. the next day.

I love that every time I go to Seongsu I spot somewhere new, but there are so many places that actually choosing where to go in is surprisingly stressful, haha.

I was looking for somewhere to relax and have something sweet, and I found this big café a little way into the Seongsu back alleys!

It even has photo spots, so just wandering around was a lot of fun. Here's my visit to LOOOP Bakery in Seongsu!

Why LOOOP Bakery for both coffee and dessert in Seongsu?

I picked LOOOP Bakery because I wanted coffee and something sweet together. Seongsu has so many cafés that deciding where to go is a chore... When I choose a café, the coffee matters of course, but I also care a lot about the desserts, like the bread and cakes.

So this time I went to LOOOP Bakery to enjoy coffee and a sweet dessert together.

What we ordered at LOOOP Bakery and how much it cost

We ordered three things: an Americano, a decaf Americano and a mini strawberry fresh cream cake.

You might find the prices a bit high, but given the location right in the middle of Seongsu, the quality of the cake and the pleasant, comfortable café, I thought it was totally understandable!

Dark-roast and decaf Americano: good choices for late at night?

At LOOOP Bakery you can pick your beans for the Americano. I usually like a heavy, rich dark roast, so I went with dark again this time.

My companion found caffeine a bit much that late, so they ordered decaf. If you look at the coffee menu as well as the desserts when choosing a bakery café in Seongsu, it's worth checking this out too.

Is the 15,000 won mini strawberry cream cake worth it?

The star of today's café outing was definitely this mini strawberry fresh cream cake! It's ₩15,000 at LOOOP Bakery, but when it arrived, the look of it wiped out any worry about the price.

Honestly, my hand trembled a little at ₩15,000, okay? But once I held the real thing, all of that disappeared! It looks so good you can't not take photos... The fresh, bright strawberries and soft fresh cream go together really well, and it was great with coffee.

The cream is soft rather than overly sweet, so it paired perfectly with my iced Americano!

Does LOOOP Bakery have photo spots and a Life4Cuts booth?

Yes, LOOOP Bakery has photo spots here and there inside, and there's also a space for Life Four Cuts (a Korean four-frame photo booth). Personally, this was my favorite part!

There was a separate space for taking Life Four Cuts photos too.

There's plenty of seating, so you can relax and also take photos, which makes for a more well-spent time.
