Why I chose Schedule Cheongdam for our 4th anniversary dinner

Schedule Cheongdam is a Western restaurant in Cheongdam, and I visited with my boyfriend for our 4th anniversary. We decided to do something a little special for the first time in a while. I wanted good food in a nicer atmosphere than usual, plus a relaxed stretch of time together, so I searched for places in Cheongdam and found Schedule Cheongdam.

I liked the look of the space from the photos, and the menu was varied and the food looked great too, so it became our anniversary dinner spot.

We were shown to a table by the window. The weather was pleasantly cool, so the breeze coming in was lovely, and it felt roomy and not stuffy at all, which made for a relaxed meal.

Schedule Cheongdam menu and how to order

You order through a table order system, which was convenient. Without having to call over a staff member, we could browse the menu slowly and pick what we wanted. This day we ordered the margherita, black truffle cream gnocchi and vongole.

While waiting, I looked at the tableware on the table. It was clean and pretty, which put me in a good mood before the food even arrived. The water also came in a lovely bottle, so it felt like they cared about even these small details.

There was also a phone charger on the table, which was handy, haha.

Schedule Cheongdam margherita pizza: the dough was great

The first dish to arrive was the margherita pizza. The tomato sauce wasn't too salty but still had that rich tomato flavor, which I liked.

It was topped with basil, so there was a subtle basil aroma as we ate. But what I liked most was the dough.

The margherita dough was pleasantly chewy and nutty, so you enjoy not just the toppings but the texture of the pizza itself. I dipped the crust ends in the olive oil and balsamic sauce that came with it.

Dipped lightly in olive oil, it was nutty and the distinctive aroma rose up to my nose, a different feel from eating it plain. With the tang of the balsamic added, I ended up finishing every last bit of crust.

Black truffle cream gnocchi, with truffle grated at your table

For the black truffle cream gnocchi at Schedule Cheongdam, a staff member grates the truffle right over the dish, so it was fun to watch too. I was excited the moment the aroma spread. Maybe because it is grated right at the table, the scent felt quite strong.

The cream sauce was smooth and rich, and the gnocchi were bite-sized with a nicely chewy texture. The sauce coated every gnocchi well, so it went down nutty and smooth. I liked the mushrooms mixed in too. Their aroma and texture added more layers of flavor than the cream sauce alone.

If you love truffle aroma, this is a dish worth keeping an eye out for when you order. Watching the truffle being grated in front of you built up the anticipation, which made it a fun date-night dish.

How was the vongole at Schedule Cheongdam?

The vongole (clam pasta) at Schedule Cheongdam had a subtle oil aroma and wasn't over-seasoned, so it was easy to eat without feeling heavy. It came out last, and I ordered it because my boyfriend likes it.

My boyfriend usually likes vongole, so it was a must when we chose dishes that day. Eating the clams and noodles together, the clean flavor of the oil base really came through.

After the cream-sauce gnocchi and the tomato-sauce pizza, the vongole went in a different direction, and I was glad we had ordered a variety of dishes.

Is Schedule Cheongdam good for dates, not just anniversaries?

This time we visited Schedule Cheongdam on a special day, our 4th anniversary, but judging by the overall atmosphere, I think it suits a regular date dinner as well. If you're looking for a Western restaurant with a nice mood in Cheongdam, it's a place I'd like to remember as a candidate for our next date.
