Blackhead cleansing balm for dry skin: HEEDA Charcoal Cleansing Balm
In short
HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal Cleansing Balm is a charcoal cleansing balm I used in Korea for sunscreen removal and blackhead care. It melted into an oil as I massaged it in, and I did not feel tightness or dryness after rinsing, though I found it best suited to adding blackhead care to an existing cleansing step.

Why I chose a cleansing balm for blackhead care

Even after my skin stopped being oily, blackheads were still a concern. Rather than adding a separate step to my routine, I wanted to manage them during the cleansing step I do every day, so I used this product.

What is the texture of HEEDA Charcoal Cleansing Balm like?

Because it is black, I initially expected it to be firm, but it spread smoothly once it touched my skin. I scooped out one spatulaful and massaged it over my face, and it gradually turned into an oil.

How I used it

I used it to cleanse on days when I wore sunscreen. I applied the balm to my face and massaged it until it turned into an oil, then lightly wet my fingertips to emulsify it. Afterward, I rinsed several times with lukewarm water.

Did my skin feel tight after cleansing?

On dry days, I often felt my skin become tight as the moisture evaporated immediately after washing, but after using this cleansing balm, I did not feel tightness or dryness. I think it is worth trying if you want to work on blackheads and uneven skin texture as part of your cleansing step.
