How did my skin feel after washing?
I tend to choose cleansing products carefully because I am concerned about whiteheads, blackheads, and bumpy skin texture. Since this product contains charcoal, I expected a strong cleansing feel, but my skin felt moisturized after the first cleanse.
When I wiped again with the cleansing water I usually use to check, no makeup remained. Compared with products that leave skin squeaky clean but tight after washing, I liked that it felt less tight.
What were the texture and scent like?
This balm comes in a black case. Compared with other balm products I have tried, it was less thick and more fluid and moisturizing. I expected the strong or heavy scent typical of charcoal products, but it was subtle and not overwhelming.
It was convenient because I could use it with gentle rolling motions rather than rubbing hard when removing makeup or sunscreen.
How did I use the cleansing balm?
I applied the cleansing balm to my face and massaged it gently. I wet my hands with a little water and massaged for about 30 more seconds, then rinsed several times with lukewarm water.

As I continued using it, I felt that my skin texture looked a little more refined. Sometimes my skin felt smoother when I touched its surface the morning after washing my face in the evening, and I also felt good when applying base makeup.
