They serve a range of fusion dishes rooted in both Korean and Western food that everyone from young to old can enjoy, so fair warning — it can take forever to pick a menu item 🤣 There are Western dishes like steak, gnocchi, pasta, risotto, and pilaf, as well as lighter brunch options like French toast, salad, and eggs in hell, so truly, whenever you visit, this Gongdeok pasta spot HEOD Gongdeok seems bound to satisfy 😚

It also operates as a café, so there's plenty of coffee and drink options,

and they also serve highballs, wine, and beer that pair well with brunch and Western dishes, so it seems good for a daytime drink too 🍺

This is the pickle 🥒 served as a basic side dish — personally I'm not a fan of overly fermented pickles, but this one kept its crunch perfectly, so it was delicious just on its own 😆

HEOD Gongdeok has all kinds of brunch dishes and pasta on offer, so it took quite a bit of deliberation to pick something — and after much back-and-forth, I picked the soft tofu seafood risotto (₩24,000) 🍝

The soft tofu seafood risotto is made with a bisque and tomato base,

and it was loaded with all kinds of seafood — scallops, mussels, shrimp, and more —

and on top of that, the addition of soft, silky tofu gave it a deep, rich savoriness 👍🏻👍🏻

The soft tofu + seafood + tomato risotto would be delicious even on its own, but

once the cheese was added, the flavor got even more incredible 🤤

Gongdeok pasta spot HEOD Gongdeok has great Western and brunch dishes — if you usually love seafood dishes, the soft tofu seafood risotto is a total must-try recommendation.
