Hangover lunch at a Jeonpo-dong Korean restaurant: Hyangtaek Jeonpo
Hyangtaek Jeonpo Branch is a tidy Korean restaurant on Seojeon-ro in Busanjin, Busan. After drinks the night before, the writer and her boyfriend came for a hangover lunch and ordered samchi gondeure-bap (mackerel with thistle rice) and yukhoe bibimbap (raw beef rice bowl), emptying their bowls with a refill of gopchang gim (crispy seasoned laver) plus cold barley tea, side dishes and soup. For a day when you want gentle, non-spicy Korean food to settle your stomach, Hyangtaek is a solid pick.
