Charcoal cleansing balm for makeup removal: HEEDA Jirisan Moist
In short
HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal Cleansing Balm is a Korean cleansing balm I tested for several days to remove full makeup on dry, dehydrated skin. It melted smoothly, removed my eye makeup well, and left almost no tightness after cleansing.

What were the texture and application of HEEDA Charcoal Cleansing Balm like?

Although it is a black balm, it spread more softly than I expected when scooped out. I initially took too much, but about half the amount I put on the back of my hand was enough.

When applied to my face, the formula melted and turned slightly gray. It has a separate spot to store the included spatula, which felt more hygienic than scooping it out with my hands.

Did one cleansing balm remove full makeup?

I usually use lip and eye makeup remover first, but this time I tried using only the cleansing balm. After cleansing, I wiped around my eyes and mouth again with remover to check, and almost nothing came off.

In my experience, even eye makeup that tends to remain, such as eyeshadow and eyeliner, came off cleanly. After using the cleansing balm, I washed once more with foam cleanser.

How did my skin feel after several days of use?

After using it for several days, I felt that residue and dead skin cells were being cleared away, and the bumpy texture of my skin seemed less noticeable than before. My complexion also looked a little brighter.

My skin tends to feel very dry beneath the surface, but I felt almost no tightness after cleansing. I plan to keep using it when I want to remove full makeup with a gentle feel.
