Mibundang Myeongji Branch is a Vietnamese pho restaurant in Gangseo, Busan, with quiet bar seating for solo meals. My family tried brisket, beef belly, and tendon pho alongside crispy sweet-potato chả giò, and the generous toppings and clean broth stood out. Verdict: a lovely pick for a deeply satisfying bowl of broth on your own.
Mandong Jegwa Yeonnam Branch is a bakery in Seodaemun, Seoul, for taking home a wide range of breads. I sampled and brought home tortilla bread, bacon ciabatta, a pretzel, and maple bread. Verdict: a very successful bakery crawl with flavor and texture beyond expectations!
