Gijang outlet restaurant with a wood-fired oven: jambon pizza at

Today's post is about my visit to Bueokgan, a Gijang, Busan restaurant inside the Shinsegae outlet. Bueokgan says it aims to be more than just a place to eat — it wants space and food to come together as one experience. The cozy vibe of the space and the staff's service were so satisfying that I wanted to introduce it to anyone looking for good food in Gijang, haha.

Where is Bueokgan in the Shinsegae outlet? NORTH 1F, next to the UGG store

If you drive in through the entrance, Bueokgan Restaurant at the Shinsegae outlet is on the left, tucked into the very back of the NORTH building's 1st floor. With plenty of parking and a pleasant indoor space, it's an easy spot to grab a meal before or after shopping.

The fastest way to find it is to look for the UGG store on the 1st floor. Turn left right by the escalator next to it and you'll see it immediately~

What are Bueokgan's interior and waiting area like?

At the entrance of this Gijang, Busan restaurant, there's a spacious waiting area where you can sit comfortably while you wait. It looked big enough to seat around twenty people comfortably 👍🏻

This Western restaurant at the Shinsegae outlet in Gijang, Busan has such a pretty, atmospheric European-style interior~ They said they were going for the warm, refined feel of a living room in a European home, and walking through it, I could really feel that intention come through. This Gijang restaurant also has a spacious interior with group tables, so it's great for coming with family. It also seemed like a good pick as a Gijang, Busan restaurant to visit with kids.

Bueokgan at the Shinsegae outlet is a YES Kids Zone, with both baby chairs and baby tableware ready to go, so it seems like a comfortable space for families to eat together~~ This Gijang restaurant has a lot of reviews saying kids eat well here, so if you're a parent who struggles to get your child to eat, maybe give Bueokgan a try, haha.

I ordered jambon pizza, rosé shrimp pasta, and grapefruit ade.

Jambon pizza: chewy dough straight from the wood-fired oven

This is jambon pizza topped with jambon (ham), pistachios, and honey. The pizza itself was sweet, and maybe because it was baked in a wood-fired oven, the dough was so wonderfully chewy — I really enjoyed this one. Honestly one of the best pizzas I've had recently 👀👍🏻

Shrimp rosé pasta: generous sauce and plump shrimp

The rosé pasta comes with plump shrimp, and the sauce was generous with a rich, deep rosé flavor — really tasty.

Grapefruit ade: fresh fruit, stir well before you drink

The grapefruit ade also has real fruit in it, so it was much more refreshing and intense in flavor. That made it the perfect drink to pair with a Western meal, haha. The grapefruit concentrate settles at the bottom, so make sure to stir it well before you drink!

Final verdict on Bueokgan at the Gijang outlet in Busan

Since Bueokgan is right inside the Shinsegae outlet in Busan, it's a great stop for a meal before or after shopping. The atmospheric European-style interior also makes for great photos, and the pizza and pasta were both delicious, so if you're looking for a good restaurant at the Shinsegae outlet, I'd definitely recommend a visit, haha.
