Hi, this is Yeondu! If you're looking for a good sundaeguk (blood sausage soup) spot in Suwon, how about Gohyangok Spicy Sundaeguk Omokcheon Branch? The parking lot is huge and the spicy sundaeguk was really tasty, so overall I was quite satisfied.

🍲 Why I stopped in at Gohyangok
I was craving a spicy broth, so I went out for sundaeguk. While searching for a good sundaeguk place in Omokcheon-dong, I found Gohyangok Spicy Sundaeguk.

Where Gohyangok Omokcheon Branch is, and how parking works
Gohyangok Spicy Sundaeguk Suwon Omokcheon Branch is located at 1F, 4 Seosuwon-ro, Gwonseon-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. The parking lot is so wide that I visited without any parking worries. If you're looking for a Suwon sundaeguk spot where you don't have to stress about parking, I'd recommend this one.

Spicy sundaeguk for 11,000 won with free somyeon refills
I ordered the spicy sundaeguk and the broth was genuinely spicy and delicious. At around 11,000 won, it wasn't a burden on the wallet either. They also offer free refills of thin noodles (somyeon), so it's great for eating your fill.

🍜 Next visit: the mak-guksu
Looking at the menu, the mak-guksu (buckwheat noodles) looked really good too. It felt like a shame to leave after only having sundaeguk — I got curious about the other menu items as well. Next time I visit, I'm definitely planning to try the mak-guksu.

Seating, atmosphere and opening hours
The interior of Gohyangok Omokcheon Branch is fairly spacious, with a good mix of solo seats, 4-person tables, and 6-person tables, so it's comfortable whether you're dining alone or with a group. Another plus is that they're open every day (07:00–22:00, last order 21:30), so you can drop by whenever a sundaeguk craving hits.

😊 What I liked about Gohyangok
The wide parking, the delicious broth, and the fact that they're open daily from early morning to late at night — all of it was great. If you're looking for a good sundaeguk restaurant in Suwon, I think these conditions make it an easy place to visit without any worries.

💡 For anyone hunting sundaeguk in Suwon
Omokcheon-dong and Gosaek-dong are close to industrial complexes, so there's a lot of foot traffic during lunch hours. Maybe that's why the sundaeguk restaurants around here have quick table turnover and a steady stream of customers. Gohyangok Spicy Sundaeguk is known for having a high repeat-visit rate, and after going myself, I could see why.
In particular, having such a wide private parking lot really stood out compared to other restaurants in the area. Near industrial complexes, finding a parking spot can be surprisingly tricky, but here I could park without any worries and just walk right in.
There are also solo seats set aside, so people dining alone can eat comfortably without feeling self-conscious. Since ordering is done through a tablet, the wait time was pretty short too.
I think these little details are exactly what bring people back. If I happen to pass by the area again, I feel like I'd naturally stop in once more.

🔁 Would I go back to Gohyangok?
I think I'll go back for the mak-guksu. I was already satisfied with the sundaeguk alone, but this is a place that made me curious about the other menu items too.
