Camel suede travel tote, 3-night test: Meda Bag Suede Bag

As I prepared for my Phu Quoc trip, I needed a bag that could hold plenty of things. I brought the camel-colored Meda Bag Large-Capacity Suede Bag and used it for 3 nights, and it was light and roomy enough to carry around comfortably.

What were the camel color and suede texture like?

It came in four colors: black, beige, brown, and camel. I debated between brown and camel before choosing camel. Seeing it in person, I liked that the color was not too much but still had a vintage feel, and it photographed nicely on the trip too.

When I ordered it, it arrived the next day. I also received a keyring and attached it to the bag.

The suede felt soft, and the clean V-line silhouette felt casual. Neither the color nor the design felt intimidating, so I reached for it often in everyday life too.

How did the shoulder strap and shape hold up when it was packed full?

The bag itself was light, and the shoulder strap finishing felt sturdy too. Even when I packed it heavily during the trip, the strap did not slip off my shoulder. I also liked the snap-button buckle at the opening, which kept the bag from falling open.

The bottom supported my belongings, so when I used it packed with things, it did not sag at the base and kept its shape well.

How much travel gear fit inside, and how did I organize small items?

The bag was generously sized, so I carried cosmetics, emergency medicine, a power bank, and more. However, there were no separate compartments inside.

I put small items in the included inner bag to keep them organized. The inner bag was roomy enough for my hand to fit inside with space left over, so it was useful for carrying several belongings.

Did it go well with travel clothes and winter outfits too?

The camel color looked different in person from an ordinary brown. I loved its vintage mood, and because it was light while still holding plenty, I used it well throughout the trip.

I liked how it looked worn over the shoulder too. It did not stand out awkwardly with the clothes I wore in hot Phu Quoc, and it also went well with winter outfits after I returned to Korea. It was large enough to fit the iPad I use.

My younger sibling, who carried the bag around with me, was satisfied too and said they wanted to use it for commuting. Since I usually carry lots of belongings, the roomy size and light weight suited me especially well, and now I want to try the brown color too.
