Euljiro burger restaurant, late lunch: Hanwoo double cheese, Daily Fix

Today I'm writing about a Euljiro 1-ga spot with great Hanwoo patties: Daily Fix Euljiro!

A late lunch near Euljiro 1-ga: why Daily Fix?

Daily Fix Euljiro is a premium handmade burger restaurant right in front of Euljiro 1-ga Station. I had errands in Euljiro and the lunch hour was long gone before I knew it.

While looking for somewhere quick for a late lunch, I spotted Daily Fix Euljiro right in front of the station. It's a premium handmade burger brand that puts the experience of chefs from Michelin restaurants into its burgers, and I was curious! So I walked in.

Daily Fix Euljiro: location and how to get there

Daily Fix Euljiro is a 1-minute walk from Exit 1 of Euljiro 1-ga Station, on the ground floor of the Fastfive Euljiro building. The address is 1F Unit 103 & 104, 24 Namdaemun-ro 9-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul.

Since it's on the ground floor of Fastfive Euljiro, it wasn't hard to find. The yellow neon sign stands out from far away, and with three entrances, first-timers should find it easily.

There was a waiting notice at the door too, so you can tell it's popular during weekday lunch!

A restrooms notice was posted right next to it. Women's restroom is on the 1st floor, and for men it's the 2nd floor or the Jungang Building!

Hours and parking

• Hours: Mon–Fri 11:00–23:00 (last order 22:00) / Sat–Sun 11:00–22:00 (last order 21:00)
• Parking: Fastfive Euljiro B1 underground lot, free for 30 minutes with a Daily Fix visit, then ₩3,000 per 30 minutes
• Amenities: group seating, takeout, separate men's/women's restrooms, wheelchair accessible, mobile payment, local currency accepted

Inside Daily Fix Euljiro: atmosphere and seating

Inside, yellow sofas, brick walls and vintage lighting give it the feel of an American burger joint. With window booths and big wooden tables, it works for eating solo or coming with a group.

From outside I thought it was a small, cozy shop, but once I got in there were way more seats than I expected..!

There are booths by the window and a big wooden table in the middle, so it looks good for solo meals and for groups alike.

There are draft beer taps and whiskey on display in the back, so I'd also recommend coming in the evening for a burger and a beer!

How to order at Daily Fix Euljiro and choosing a menu

Every seat has a tablet, so you can order and pay right where you sit. After some deliberation, I went with the double cheeseburger.

No need to go to the counter, which is handy! I agonized over what to eat for a while before settling on the double cheeseburger. After ordering, I found out that Kang Min-kyung of Davichi raved about the bacon cheeseburger and the pastrami sandwich! I definitely want to try those two next time, haha.

Sodas get one refill. I wanted a milkshake too, but it was sold out that day (sob). So I ordered just one Sprite Zero.

The Hanwoo double cheeseburger: how did it taste?

The Daily Fix double cheeseburger is a big burger packed with two 100% Hanwoo patties, cheese, sautéed onions and sauce. The patty was the softest, beefiest of any burger I've had so far.

They start making it once you order, so it took a little while to come out.

It looked so delicious the moment it arrived..!

First off, the burger itself is big. With two 100% Hanwoo patties in there, the price made sense.

Cut in half, it was packed with two thick patties, cheese, sautéed onions and sauce,

and the patty was the softest and beefiest of any burger I've ever had! It was so tender you could eat it with just your gums, no teeth needed.

The bun was fluffy and soft too, and since it's made right when you order, it's not even in the same league as franchise burgers.

Fries and the signature dipping sauce

I had the fries with two sauces, the signature dipping sauce and ketchup. Alternating between them, I never got tired of it and kept eating, haha. A milkshake would have made it even better. Next time I'll definitely have one with it!

Is one set and one single burger enough for two?

One double cheeseburger set and one single burger left the two of us stuffed! If we'd ordered two sets, we probably couldn't have finished...!

Even at that in-between hour after the weekday lunch rush, couples, solo diners and foreign guests kept trickling in while we ate.

Who is Daily Fix Euljiro for?

The Hanwoo patty at Daily Fix Euljiro is so soft and beefy that I understood why customers keep coming even after lunchtime. The bun was fluffy and the fries were good with the sauces, so I enjoyed it to the end! It's close to Euljiro 1-ga Station and easy for eating alone, so it seems just right for an office-worker lunch in Euljiro.
