Solo burger lunch near Seongsu Station: seat-side kiosks, bd Burger

So many people are heading to Seongsu these days, right? Today I'm introducing bd Burger Seongsu, a burger place near Seongsu Station that's great for eating alone. If you like doing things solo like me, or you work around Seongsu Station, I bet picking lunch every day is a headache.

Somewhere too fancy feels awkward for one person, but you don't want to just grab something and get it over with either. This is the perfect spot for that. It has good food, good atmosphere and is easy for solo diners, so I really wanted to recommend it. Okay, starting the review right now!!

Where is bd Burger Seongsu, and what are the hours?

bd Burger Seongsu is open every day from 11:30 to 21:00, with last order at 20:30. Takeout, delivery and reservations are all available, and there's Wi-Fi and a waiting area. Groups can use it too.

It's not far on foot from Seongsu Station. Since it's on a back street, I could feel a quiet atmosphere even in lively Seongsu.

You just head up to the 2nd floor. I went around weekday lunchtime and got in right away with no wait.

Is bd Burger near Seongsu Station good for eating alone?

There's a self-bar where you can grab drink refills, utensils, napkins and so on yourself. Here's the self-bar!

The inside of the shop was neat and clean. There are quite a few tables, and lots of people were eating in, while delivery pickup customers kept coming in steadily too.

I sat alone at a two-person table, and a few other solo customers were there besides me. Definitely a solo-dining-friendly restaurant, I approve.

Every seat has a kiosk, so you can order right from where you sit. The pickup message also shows up on the kiosk, so when it appears, just go pick up your food!

What comes in the bd Wasabi Shrimp set?

I ordered the bd Wasabi Shrimp set. The set lets you pick 1 side and 1 drink, and I chose the most signature side, eggplant fries, and, being conscientious, Zero Cola, hehe.

A little while after ordering, the pickup message popped up and I went to get it right away. Such a gorgeous look..♡ It came neatly arranged on a trendy tray, hip in that perfectly Seongsu mood yet appetizing, so I took tons and tons of photos.

How does the bd Wasabi Shrimp Burger taste?

The shrimp patty was so thick it practically spilled out from between the buns. Let me show you today's star, the bd Wasabi Shrimp Burger, first.

The thickness of the shrimp patty poking out of the bun is just so tempting..♡ You have to open your mouth wide to eat it. The piping hot, freshly fried shrimp patty, crunchy vegetables and sharp, refreshing wasabi sauce went so well together, and it totally hit my taste.

I took this photo to show you the inside of the patty! Plump whole shrimp, with a popping texture, honestly top-tier shrimp burger taste. The wasabi sauce neatly cuts the richness a fried patty can have, so I never got tired of it and finished it happily.

bd Burger's signature side: eggplant fries

The eggplant fries, bd Burger Seongsu's signature side: the conclusion is that they're an excellent choice..! I usually like eggplant, so this was a side I absolutely had to try!

The thin batter coating the eggplant sticks is crunchy, and one bite releases a burst of juice, so it's crispy outside and moist inside, the real deal. The dipping sauce served alongside has a slight kick, so you can enjoy the eggplant fries without feeling greasy.

Sipping cola in between made it perfect. It's been a while since I had a tasty solo meal at Seongsu Station, and it was a very satisfying lunch. I hope this helps anyone who needs to eat alone in Seongsu or is looking for a great burger place.
