Where is Bueokgan Restaurant Yangsan Oslo Park Branch?

Bueokgan Restaurant Oslo Park Branch is a new Western restaurant on the basement floor of the BL building at 14 Beomgu-ro, Mulgeum-eup, Yangsan-si, Gyeongnam. I'd been looking for a good gathering spot in Yangsan Beomeo, and this place turned out to be great for taking kids — solid enough for a proper lunch and still relaxed enough for brunch, so it seemed perfect for a moms' meetup.

We'd just wrapped up a daycare operating committee meeting, and the timing lined up perfectly with lunch, so we ended up here. It was the kind of place where you could eat well and then linger over coffee for a good chat.

What is on the Bueokgan menu?

Bueokgan is a Western-style restaurant. The menu ranges from light salads to Italian dishes like risotto, pasta, and pizza, all the way up to steak — so there's something whether you want a light brunch or a hearty family meal out. Prices were reasonable too, which made it feel like a great spot for the whole family.

Inside Bueokgan Oslo Park: interior and bringing kids

The overall vibe was European — clean and modern with a touch of vintage, giving off a real exotic feel. There were plenty of high chairs, so it was easy to bring kids, and with wide spacing between tables plus group seating, it looked stroller-friendly too. Eating out with an infant or toddler can feel like a hassle, but a place like this makes it easy to enjoy a good meal without the stress.

Even the tableware wasn't plain — it had a touch of luxury that made us feel well taken care of.

We'd already had ade at daycare, so I ordered a zero-sugar cola instead. It came with a cup of ice.

We ordered a cream rose pasta with big, chewy shrimp, handmade potato gnocchi in a porcini sauce loaded with deep mushroom flavor, and a light prosciutto and arugula pizza — three different dishes to share around the table.

I personally love gnocchi, so this was my pick, and the cream sauce was so rich with truffle aroma. I ordered it wanting to taste the chewy gnocchi itself, but the mushrooms were so good I kept picking them out one by one instead haha. There were plenty of mushrooms too, so even with four of us eating, there was more than enough. They must have used fresh ingredients because the mushrooms tasted amazing — such a great match with the sauce.

Prosciutto and arugula wood-fired pizza

The pizza wasn't heavy at all — a proper wood-fired pizza with basil pesto on the side, so the basil aroma came through without being salty, just clean and light. It wasn't huge, but the 6 slices were perfect for sharing, and dipping the crust ends into the leftover gnocchi sauce was such a good combo. If you like light, unassuming flavors, I'd definitely recommend this pizza.

Shrimp cream rose pasta

The shrimp rose pasta had genuinely big, plentiful shrimp. With shrimp, clams, and plenty of garlic, the sharp garlic aroma was so good, and the shrimp had a really plump texture. It doesn't show much in the photo, but I think there were around 5–6 shrimp in there. Plenty to share, and the pasta noodles were on the thinner side. Nothing about the food was too strong-flavored, so it seemed like something you could easily enjoy with kids too!

What stuck with me most was the mushroom. At the grocery store, mushrooms feel like a cheap side-dish ingredient, but here I realized they can carry such a luxurious flavor too haha.
