Namyangju Korean BBQ with naengmyeon: Galbi Yechan

This week, I visited Galbi Yechan Namyangju Jinjeop Branch (갈비예찬 남양주진접점), a great restaurant in Jinjeop, Namyangju, for lunch with a friend. It is a barbecue restaurant serving marinated meat and fresh beef, and when we grilled its marinated ribs over charcoal, the seasoning had soaked right through and the meat just melted in our mouths...!!! It was so delicious that we absolutely demolished it. There is even a 2+1 deal, so you can pack up any leftover ribs to take home. Such amazing value, isn't it!!

If you order more than the number of people in your party, you get one extra serving for every two servings ordered!!! It is close to Onam Station, so the location is great too. Galbi Yechan is somewhere I really want to recommend for a Jinjeop work dinner or group gathering.

It is on the first floor at 8-12 Haemilyedang 1-ro, Jinjeop-eup, Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi-do, and is open daily from 11:00 to 21:30. Last orders are at 20:30, and there is a spacious parking area right in front of the restaurant.

My second visit for Jinjeop marinated ribs

Galbi Yechan near Onam Station in Namyangju! This was my second visit haha. Such a delicious barbecue restaurant in Jinjeop, Namyangju~~!

If someone asks me where to find great ribs in Jinjeop, Namyangju, I would recommend this place without hesitation—the marinated ribs are seriously delicious! As a specialist in marinated meat and fresh beef, Galbi Yechan has great-quality meat that is bursting with juices and melts in your mouth.

We visited at that awkward time after lunch but before dinner. The tables were wide and the chairs were comfy! I thought it would be perfect for a work dinner near Onam Station. High chairs and children's tableware were ready too, so it is great for dining out with kids and perfect for a family gathering in Jinjeop, Namyangju.

Fresh marinated pork, fresh marinated beef, marinated beef rib meat, snowflake boneless meat, rib meat, and upper sirloin are all included in the 2+1 event!!

You can order easily at the kiosk. Try the high-quality marinated meat and fresh beef grilled over binchotan charcoal, and you will really notice how fresh it is and how good the texture is~ We started by ordering two servings of marinated ribs! A total of three servings came out haha.

They also had disposable aprons and high chairs ready. Their attention to detail is the best (👍🏻 ˃ ᴗ ˂ )👍🏻

First came the side dishes and sauces! They brought side dishes that go so well with rib meat. That seasoned lettuce and citron lotus root were especially incredible~~! I started by eating the refreshing citron lotus root before the meat!

Our marinated ribs arrived. You can tell at a glance that the meat quality is good, right!? Each piece was scored, and the seasoning had soaked right into those cuts—it looked so delicious.

Charcoal-grilled marinated ribs and mul-naengmyeon

Meat grilled over charcoal really is the best!!! It cooks quickly and seals in all the juices—charcoal-grilled meat is just so good!!!!

When you put Galbi Yechan's rib meat in your mouth, it melts away and bursts with juices. How can it be so tender, with the seasoning soaked all the way through? Seriously, heavenly...!!

When you order a bowl of rice, it comes with Korean Haenam kimchi, and it was so delicious. The ribs-and-kimchi combination is insane.

A glass of somaek (soju and beer mixed together) would have been perfect with this, but everyone had driven, so we could not drinkㅠㅠㅠ Next time, we decided to enjoy it with a glass of somaek!!!

There is a self-service station, so we could bring back any side dishes we needed along the way! Garlic, barley doenjang (fermented soybean paste), Cheongyang chili peppers, onions, lettuce, and all sorts of sauces!

We also had a refreshing bowl of mul-naengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodle soup) with little ice crystals floating in it for dessert.
