Songdo jazz bar 700-day anniversary with fire-show steak: Jazz 257

Do you guys like jazz~? (Shoo-be-doo-bop!) I think almost nobody dislikes jazz. It's a genre with a kind of magic that makes you flutter and sets the mood.

For our 700 days together, my boyfriend and I were looking for somewhere unusual, with a great atmosphere, to celebrate. We heard about a famous Songdo steak spot where you can also catch live jazz on weekends, a must for date courses, so we went to Jazz 257 Songdo Central Park Branch! ◟( ˘ ³˘)◞ ♡

Jazz 257 Songdo Central Park Branch: location, hours and parking

Jazz 257 Songdo Central Park Branch is at Artfore Building D, Units 201 and 202, 257 Incheontawo-daero, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, South Korea. It is open Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu and Sun 16:00-24:00, and Fri and Sat 16:00 to 01:00 the next day, including public holidays.

There's parking too. Right after the roundabout in front of the Artwin Prugio entrance there's an underground garage; after you enter, turn right on B1 and you're at the Building D shop parking lot. Park, then take the stairs or elevator up to the 2nd floor.

Here's the exterior. From the moment we climbed the stairs, the piano and singing drifting from afar made my heart go pitter-patter!! It's on the lake side by the Songdo water taxi dock, so you can see the sparkling lake, and it looks like a lovely place for a walk afterward!

What's the atmosphere like at Jazz 257 in Songdo?

The inside of Jazz 257 Songdo Central Park Branch is dark overall, but the chandeliers and soft lighting bring the mood to life. Isn't the atmosphere amazing? I was honestly so surprised!!

On one side the windows were open and a cool breeze was coming in, and everyone was watching the jazz performance with a glass of wine.

There was even a seat like this for drinking solo, haha. Sitting alone, looking at the lake and listening to jazz, how romantic is that? It made me think, only in Songdo would you find a place like this. It was such a unique and charming spot.

Where do you sit when you reserve at Jazz 257?

We reserved at Jazz 257 before visiting, so we were shown to a reserved seat. It wasn't right in front of the stage but in the second row, and the seats were set up so we could watch toward the stage, which was so nice.

There are also group tables and 4-person tables where you sit facing each other!

Where can you check the Jazz 257 live jazz lineup?

The lineup at Jazz 257 changes every day and is posted each time on Jazz 257's Naver news, so check there! The day we went it was a vocal and piano duo, and both were incredibly talented, so it was a real treat for the ears, haha.

Jazz 257 menu and the steak and wine set

The Jazz 257 menu has pizza, pasta, risotto, steak and more, and there are plenty of drinks besides wine, so no worries when you visit :) We ordered the steak and wine set!!

First, they pour the wine for you. The clear glass is being filled so prettily with wine!! Oh, and the staff were super kind too, haha.

How is the fire-show steak served?

The steak at Jazz 257 comes out almost rare at first. They do a fire show at the table, and the grill keeps cooking the meat warm, so we could enjoy it at just the right doneness.

This is the fire show!! Wow~~ the "woah" came out automatically, lol. A restaurant with an event like this, we absolutely have to come on anniversaries!! A steak with a fire performance like this, I should definitely bring my girlfriend to see it, right, haha.

The meat was thick but good quality, so it went down tender, and eating it with the onion, zucchini and tomato served alongside made it even more delicious!!

Slicing into the nicely cooked meat, cheers with the wine~~ and live jazz on top of that, so romantic, haha.

Is Jazz 257 good for an anniversary date in Songdo?

Live music overlooking the Central Park lake, plus Jazz 257's atmosphere, service and food, all of it was perfect!! Haha. It was a great way to celebrate our 700 days, and I think we'll remember it for a long time!!
