Solo lunch salmon rice bowl set at window seat: Hekbap Kkachisan

Hekbap Kkachisan Branch is a Japanese restaurant near Kkachisan Station in Gangseo, Seoul, known for affordable rice bowls and ramen. Visiting alone for a late weekday lunch, the writer sat in the second-floor solo-dining window zone and ordered the salmon rice bowl set (₩18,900), which adds two pieces of fried chicken and mini udon for just ₩3,000 more. A comfortable spot for solo dining, groups, or dates alike.

Free parking and chicken ciabatta brunch at Seoul Station: Dance Dance

Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station is a brunch sandwich shop on basement level 3 of Grand Central near Seoul Station, Jung-gu, Seoul. On an early morning visit the writer swapped the chicken breast sandwich for ciabatta and found the plain tofu cream cheese and chocolate tofu cream cheese discontinued, replaced by corn tofu cream cheese and a fig matcha baguette. With 1 hour of free parking and tables right outside the shop, it works well for both a morning brunch and group orders.
