I visited Orange Bagel (오렌지베이글), a bakery café that's hot in Suwon right now! I'd heard the choco baguette is all the rage and I was super curious.. but then I started craving that chewy, delicious bagel texture, so I made it a little outing.
Is parking easy at Orange Bagel in Suwon?
Orange Bagel has a big private parking area in front of the shop, so you can park without any worry. It's at 129 Omokcheon-ro, Gwonseon-gu, Suwon, and it's open from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. (last order 8:30 p.m.).

A big parking lot and a wide-open bakery café
Step inside and, as a large café should, it has high ceilings and roomy seating. Big bagels are displayed on the first floor, and the warm lighting and moody interior really stood out.

Thanks to the stylish props, you get pretty photos wherever you shoot. A real photo spot!
What bagels does Orange Bagel have?

The first floor is packed with bagels, from plain ones to scallion cream bacon, pepperoni, jambon-beurre and salmon. They all looked so appetizing to me that I agonized over what to pick for ages... haha

Besides the plain bagel, the first thing that caught my eye was the scallion cream bacon bagel,

then Caprese tomato, pepperoni, blueberry bagels, potato, crab and shrimp, and olive tomato

Garlic, jambon-beurre, salmon bagels and more. I wanted to try every single one, and the toppings looked fresh too.
Bagel and soup is a combo that needs no explanation! Since Orange Bagel opens at 7:30 a.m., I think it'd be great for breakfast too.

Orange Bagel drink menu
This is the drink menu. Orangecano, Orange Breeze, Orange Latte and Orange Bianco are the signatures, and there's plenty more too: ades, iced tea, lattes, juices and so on.
The stylish 2nd floor and 3rd-floor terrace

Head up to the 2nd floor and you can enjoy bagels and coffee in a roomier space. There are large tables too, so I'd recommend it for group gatherings :)

The 3rd floor is a terrace, and it looked perfect for relaxing over dessert on a nice day.
What should you order at Orange Bagel?

After much agonizing~ today's bagels were four in total: scallion cream bacon, Laugen butter, pepperoni and Deep Choco!
Deep Choco Bagel, picked over the choco baguette trend
I meant to follow the choco baguette trend, but ended up with this chewy Deep Choco Bagel!!! It isn't artificially sweet; deep, rich dark chocolate fills the bread all the way through, so it tasted like a high-end brownie. It's a happy sugar boost, and chocolate lovers will definitely love it :)

Pepperoni bagel that tastes like a mini pizza
The pepperoni bagel felt just like eating a chewy mini pizza. It's generously packed with cheese and olives, and the salty pepperoni and cheese went perfectly with the bread.

Hearty scallion cream bacon bagel
Salty bacon, fragrant scallion and plenty of cream cheese: that thick cream blended wonderfully with the chewy bagel. This one alone is filling and rich!

Laugen butter bagel, a match for an Americano
It had that salty, chewy texture Laugen (German pretzel-style bread) is known for. The nutty, soft butter sandwiched inside melted in my mouth, and the refined yet plain flavor was great with an Americano! All four I picked were so good that I'd recommend trying each of them once :)
Verdict: is Orange Bagel a good date spot?

Orange Bagel in Suwon nails the taste, and it also has roomy, comfortable seating and a moody interior~ I don't think there's a better place for a weekend date with a partner: pretty photos and sweet dessert time ^^ If you're looking for a Suwon bakery café that's a treat for both eyes and mouth, give it a visit!
