A kids’ fishing game chosen as a gift for my nephew

This time, I found a kids’ fishing-game toy that was just right as a gift for my nephew. He is now a 32-month-old boy, so he has lots of energy, but with the weather getting cold, I was worried about taking him out often ㅠㅠ I wondered what he could do at home, so I gave him Kkoma Fishing King as a gift.

What is included in the fishing-game set?

Here is what comes in the fishing-game set. It is a toy that lets children enjoy fishing with magnets, with lots of fish and other sea-creature models, plus several nets and fishing rods. Parents can play with it too, or several children can enjoy it together.

You can set up the included pool and enjoy the fishing game like this. At bath time, or if you fill the bathtub, you can put the models in the water and play as though it were real fishing. The kids will love it... haha.

Playtime with lightweight, varied models

Children might put things in their mouths, step on them, or throw them while playing, but I was not worried because the toys are light and have no sharp parts. The models come in all kinds of sizes, shapes, and colors, so they are easy for children to find interesting as they play.

My nephew loved it so much, haha. I had worried, “What if he is not interested?” But when he held out the fishing rod, the fish stuck to it, so he focused because he wanted to catch the ones he wanted. He also repeated the colors and names of the sea creatures.

Putting the fish he caught into the basket like this makes tidying up easy, too. From counting how many of each fish he caught to wrapping up the game, it could help with children’s development and learning.

My nephew got hooked on the reel fishing rod

He even stood up and concentrated like this. He liked the reel-style fishing rod best, haha. It would be trouble if he grows up and becomes interested in fishing later on...

He concentrated on this fishing game for one to two hours... Children’s concentration is something else. Still, I am relieved that he likes the toy.

Before I knew it, he had climbed into the pool himself and was enjoying the fishing game with his whole body, haha. Luckily, these are not toys with sharp parts or anything likely to hurt him, so I did not worry even when he rolled around with them.

That concentration is amazing, right? Hahaha. The price and size do not feel burdensome for a children’s toy, so I think it would be great. I gave it as a gift, and his reaction was better than expected, so I am very satisfied!

He even said he would take the fish to bed, holding one in each hand... It is a fishing toy that can support children’s development and draw out their interest. It seems like an easy gift to prepare for a nephew or niece... Seeing how much my nephew likes it makes me feel proud of the gift too, haha. An active child can have this much fun indoors, too...!
