Tasting all 8 financier flavors

As soon as we got home, we unpacked and tried them one by one — crispy outside, dense and savory inside, living up to the reputation of a Suwon dessert spot in taste too.

Plain was true to basics and the flavor my husband reached for first, and chocolate chip had chocolate chips packed in, showing off its presence clearly.

Fig cream cheese had a nice balance between the fig and the cream cheese, and salt hazelnut was salty yet mellow, which we liked too.

The ones we both agreed on were injeolmi crumble and black sesame — the nutty aroma blended so well with the buttery flavor that we kept fighting over the last piece haha.
