Moms' night out at a Wonju makchang restaurant: Yeon Makchang Dangye

Yeon Makchang Dangye Branch is a par-grilled makchang (grilled pork intestine) restaurant in the middle of the Dangye-dong food street in Wonju, Gangwon. For a moms' get-together dinner the table shared par-grilled makchang, the spicy clam wine stew limited to 10 servings a day (6,000 won on a first order) and yeolmu bibim guksu (cold spicy noodles with young radish kimchi), and because the makchang arrives already par-grilled there was little work left at the grill. Yeon Makchang Dangye Branch suits a group dinner that wants a sharp, brothy stew and noodles alongside the meat.
