Seonyudo Park picnic rental when weekend wagons sell out: Picnic List
In short
Picnic List Seonyudo is an unmanned picnic and camping gear rental shop near Seonyudo Station in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul, where you choose and pay for sets at a kiosk. On a weekend around 3–4 PM, every pre-set wagon at Picnic List Seonyudo was already gone, so the writer packed the 28,000-won camping set item by item into a cart and had Kyochon Chicken delivered under a shady tree in Seonyudo Park. Even with the wagons sold out, checking and packing the set yourself made for an easy, good-looking picnic with no luggage to carry.

It was a beautiful day with a nice autumn breeze, so I went on a picnic to Seonyudo Park for a change of mood. Seonyudo Park is famous as a picnic spot, right? To get the proper picnic feel you need basics like a mat, a table and chairs, and while looking around I found Picnic List Seonyudo (피크닉리스트 선유도점).

I tried it myself and found it so convenient and satisfying that I want to write a detailed, honest review for anyone planning a picnic at Seonyudo Park!
How do you rent at Picnic List Seonyudo?
Picnic List Seonyudo is an unmanned picnic gear rental shop. There is a kiosk inside, and you simply choose the set you want and pay right there.

What if the pre-set wagons are all gone on a weekend afternoon?
If you go to Picnic List Seonyudo around 3–4 PM on a weekend, the pre-set carts (wagons) may be sold out. We arrived at exactly that time, and since it was weekend peak time, the ready-made carts had all been taken by other customers!
I was a little flustered at first, but there was no need to worry. Following the instructions at the kiosk, we checked the items of the "camping set (₩28,000)" we chose one by one and loaded them into a cart ourselves, and the system was well set up for it. There was even a small fun in seeing with my own eyes that I had every part I needed, with no misunderstandings.
What comes in the ₩28,000 camping set?
The Picnic List Seonyudo camping set costs ₩28,000 and is a generous full package where you literally just show up and get a camping mood. Here is what we confirmed in the photos.
- Basic gear: wagon, picnic mat (150*200), folding table, 2 camping chairs
- Mood and comfort items: mood-light speaker, mini fan, picnic blanket, book stand, cushion pillow
- Thoughtful extras: wet wipes, disposable cutlery (for 2), bug patches
At outdoor picnics you often get stuck without wet wipes, disposable spoons and chopsticks, or because of bugs, so I was touched that the shop thoughtfully includes wet wipes, disposable cutlery and even bug patches as standard.

Setting up the camping set in the tree shade at Seonyudo Park
We loaded the cart full of camping gear and headed to Seonyudo Park.

When we arrived, the park was packed with people out for picnics. We strolled around slowly and claimed a great spot under the shade of a tree.

We spread out the mat right away, then set up the lovely folding table and comfy camping chairs in no time. Honestly I'm not someone who reads books much, but a book stand was included in the set, so I put it up on the table anyway.
And it turned out to be perfect for unexpectedly Instagram-worthy photos! If you like taking aesthetic pictures, this is a point you'll love. Under the shade it was just the right coolness, and with the breeze and some soft music added, simply sitting there was pure healing.

Picnic food at Seonyudo Park: Kyochon chicken delivery
For our picnic food at Seonyudo Park we had Kyochon chicken delivered. Tasty food is something a picnic can't do without!
Eating delivery food outside usually means nowhere good to wash your hands and an icky feeling from sauce or greasy fingers, but thanks to the wet wipes and disposable cutlery Picnic List had thoughtfully prepared, we could enjoy the chicken cleanly and comfortably without getting it all over our hands.

Eating freshly fried, crispy chicken in an open park with a breeze blowing made it taste far better than eating it in a restaurant.
What I liked about Picnic List Seonyudo
What I liked about using Picnic List Seonyudo was the easy unmanned system! You can comfortably pack the combination you want, and returning is just dropping things off at the shop!!

The price was also kind, which I was happy about. ₩28,000 included a lot, and I think the other sets would be plenty even if you don't want the camping set. And including disposables, wet wipes and even bug patches in the set is such a good touch!!! 👍 👍 👍 👍
If you want to make special memories at Seonyudo Park, or enjoy an aesthetic picnic traveling light with no luggage, I highly recommend Picnic List Seonyudo! I'm planning to go once more before the weather gets colder.
