I love bread so much, and it's one of the things I often give my kids for breakfast, so I can't leave it out! And if that bread is rice bread instead of wheat, I can feed it to them with even less worry-

I only knew it was a rice bread place when I came to this Myeongil-dong bakery, but once I got here I saw that besides the bakery there's a roomy café space on the 2nd floor- and you can even order sandwiches by delivery, great for brunch! Doesn't that handmade jambon-beurre sandwich look so delicious!!!

I was curious how nurungji would be turned into bread- and the bottom of the bread is toasted golden like scorched rice, just like when you make nurungji from rice. So it was nuttier and had a crispy texture that I loved!
