The restaurant is open daily from 11:00 to 22:00, with a break from 15:00 to 16:30 on weekdays (Mon-Fri). There's no break time on Saturday and Sunday, and you can park in front of the restaurant.

Is it crowded on weekday evenings?

After 6pm on a weekday, almost every seat was taken. I visited around 5:30pm? and even then there were quite a few customers. The restaurant is big enough to take large groups, and seeing it fill up like that, it earns its reputation as a Dangjin BBQ favorite 👍🏻

What's on the salad bar?

In the middle of the restaurant there's an unlimited salad bar. Tortillas, bread, fried items, seasoned green bean jelly salad (cheongpomuk muchim), japchae (glass noodle stir-fry), tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), kimchi and wrap vegetables are all there for you to take as you like.

Besides the tortillas and bread, there's a wide variety of fried items, and every time I visit I notice the staff take great care of the food, so everything is always laid out in top quality.

The seasoned green bean jelly salad was so good that I went back for refills twice... 🐽 There's also japchae and tteokbokki, which kids love.

There are also all kinds of sauces and powders, plus a white kimchi & napa cabbage kimchi collab!! Take whatever suits your taste. Wraps, vegetables, even onion sauce: just take a sensible amount and don't leave any behind ✨

At the Dangjin Gijisi branch, a staff member changes the grill plate when you ask. I've heard some other branches make you swap the plate yourself, but here they do it all for you, which is so convenient... 💗

A true pig doesn't want the flow to be interrupted. So we add whole pork belly right away.

Myeongnyun Jinsa Galbi isn't just good at galbi. The pork belly is so genuinely delicious that it's no exaggeration to call it a pork belly specialist too.

After finishing the pork belly, I ate galbi again, and kept going until I was just about to burst...

Even after all that, the salad bar items are so tasty that I couldn't give up and ate them again too.
