In short
Hongdae Gureume Incheon Nonhyeon Branch is a Japanese restaurant on the 2nd floor of the iFlex Building in Namdong, Incheon, 160m from Incheon Nonhyeon Station Exit 3. The writer came for dinner at 7:30pm with her mother and ordered the Asakura two-tray soba set at 16,000 won and the sake-don (salmon rice bowl) set at 16,000 won, finding both the chilled soba broth and the aged salmon satisfying. Today I want to introduce a Japanese restaurant near Incheon Nonhyeon Station! Here's my detailed review of Hongdae Gureume Incheon Nonhyeon Branch~
Where is Hongdae Gureume Incheon Nonhyeon Branch, and when is it open?

I visited Hongdae Gureume on the 2nd floor of the iFlex Building~!! Today I came for a dinner date with my mom, and this is a place we keep coming back to! The Japanese-style salmon rice bowl, soba, ramen, sushi — everything here is delicious haha

Inside Hongdae Gureume at 7:30pm: mood and seating
I visited late at 7:30pm, and 4-5 groups kept coming in — a real sign of a good restaurant! The tables are spacious, and there's counter seating too, so it's a great spot for solo dining!
Each table has an apron and hair tie hanging on it — the hair ties are thick and don't snap, such good quality!

There's such a wide variety on the menu hahaha I recommend the scooped sushi, sake-don, or ramen!
There are also various set meals, with photos and detailed descriptions, so please take a look~~
Asakura two-tray soba set, 16,000 won: what comes with it
Asakura double-soba set, ₩16,000
I don't know why cold soba craves me so much in summer. Two plates of soba plus tempura, salad, and more, served neatly like a Japanese home-style meal — I love it!
Add grated radish, scallions, and wasabi to the cold soba broth, top with a sprinkle of seaweed flakes to finish — done~!! Just looking at the broth makes my mouth water^🐽^
I was so hungry I already put in a bundle of soba before taking the photo... T_T Two plates of soba means it's a hearty portion! The combination of chewy soba noodles and the savory umami broth had me completely. hooked. in.

The salad starter
The salad has a refreshing fruit dressing and tender lettuce leaves — so tasty and easy to eat!

Fried shrimp and karaage (Japanese fried chicken)
The fried shrimp was thick and plump, so delicious~ The outside was super crispy, fried well even to the tail, so I didn't leave a single bite — savory and good~! My mom loved this fried shrimp a lot too~
Karaage (Japanese fried chicken) — can you see the juicy, moist cross-section?? Salty and warm, this was also soft and super delicious~

Sweet pumpkin salad and candied sweet potato
Sweet pumpkin salad — the flavor we all know! I never make this at home because it's too much of a hassle lol, but for some reason it's so craveable when eating out lol. I scraped this bowl clean too.

Candied sweet potato! Even dessert to finish it off, wow. After finishing the whole soba set, we wrapped up with the candied sweet potato~ Fried sweet potato with a sweet sugar coating — the perfect ending.
Sake-don set, 16,000 won: how aged is the salmon?
Sake-don (set), ₩16,000

Sake-don is a Japanese-style rice bowl topped with salmon, and it's a dish I always order when I come to Hongdae Gureume!! The salmon is well aged, chewy yet tender, and the umami is insane!
Can you see the beautiful color~? The visuals are just gorgeous.
The rice for the sake-don is firm and well-seasoned, so it's delicious even on its own
Just piling salmon + wasabi + soy sauce on top of the rice is pure. bliss. T_T My mom raved about how delicious this was too!!!

Dishes cleaned once again today^🐽^ Before I knew it, the bowls were empty...
Who should eat at Hongdae Gureume Incheon Nonhyeon Branch?
I tried the sake-don (salmon rice bowl) and the soba set at Hongdae Gureume, a Japanese restaurant near Incheon Nonhyeon — and once again, ate so well! The signature sake-don has just the right balance of aged salmon and seasoned rice, and every visit I'm always so satisfied.
