Today I'm sharing my bossam dinner with a friend at "Yeonsinnae Jipbap (Yeonsinnae Dodam)", a place worth stopping by near the Yeonsinnae food alley in Eunpyeong when you're craving Korean food. Chewy yet mild bossam (boiled pork wraps), homestyle side dishes and a special scallion pancake: here's my honest account!

What are Yeonsinnae Dodam's hours and parking like?

Yeonsinnae Dodam (연신내도담) is on the 1st floor at 262 Galhyeon-ro, Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul (Galhyeon-dong 432-20). It opens at 11 a.m. and closes at 10 p.m. (22:00). The lunch special is available 11:00–14:00.

Since it's in an alley, the restaurant's own parking may be very limited or not available at all. If you're driving, I'd suggest the nearby Yeonsin Middle School public parking lot, the Beomseo Shopping Center lot, or a paid private lot.

How was the bossam at Yeonsinnae Dodam?

The bossam at Yeonsinnae Dodam is moist, tender boiled pork with no gamey smell, served with sweet-spicy bossam kimchi and seasoned dried radish. 🐤Ta-da🌳 The main dish I'd been waiting for has finally arrived!

✅ Moist, tender pork with no odor

The pork had no gamey smell at all, and the ratio of fat to lean meat was just right. It was boiled soft enough that it didn't crumble when I picked it up with chopsticks, yet it melted in my mouth without any need to chew.

🥬 The finishing touch: bossam kimchi and seasoned dried radish

In bossam, the kimchi matters as much as the meat. Dodam's bossam kimchi has a moderately spicy yet sweet seasoning that pairs wonderfully with the richness of the pork. Put crunchy seasoned dried radish on a leaf of baby cabbage, wrap it all up, and the savory flavor is so, so good.

Kimchi jjim and spicy chicken stir-fry to go with your bossam

Good dishes to enjoy with bossam at Yeonsinnae Dodam are the kimchi jjim and the spicy braised chicken stir-fry. The chicken is sold only on Fridays, and I hear a reservation is a must.

If you visit on a Friday, be sure to check out the limited "spicy braised chicken stir-fry (₩12,000 per serving)"! The tender chicken soaked in a hot, tangy sauce works beautifully as a drinking snack or with rice. I've decided to come back on a Friday with my friend for it.

Verdict: Yeonsinnae Dodam for a bossam and kimchi jjim spread

If you want a hearty, clean Korean meal in Yeonsinnae with proper bossam and kimchi jjim, I strongly recommend Yeonsinnae Dodam. From a great-value lunch to a generous dinner with drinks, it's a satisfying place to eat.

  • Taste quality: A perfect match of moist, odor-free bossam pork and crunchy, sweet-spicy bossam kimchi!
  • Menu picks: The bossam, kimchi jjim and scallion pancake set is a must, and on Fridays I strongly recommend the limited spicy braised chicken stir-fry!
  • Visiting tips: The lunch special (11:00–14:00) is the best value, and using a nearby public parking lot is recommended!

Today is the best day of my life! At Yeonsinnae Dodam, where I could laugh over great food, I had dinner with a friend I hadn't seen in a while and had a wonderful time.
