Songdo wine bar birthday dinner with a friend and house red: Jazz 257

Today I'm sharing my visit to Jazz 257 (재즈257), a Songdo restaurant where you can enjoy a nice glass of wine with a live jazz show. I like wine bars in general, so I went in with high hopes, and the steak, the atmosphere and the performance all left me really satisfied. If you're looking for a date spot or an anniversary restaurant in Songdo, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try.

Jazz 257 is at 257 Incheontawo-daero, Artfore Building D, Units 201 and 202, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, about 618 m from Exit 2 of Senteureolpakeu Station on Incheon Line 1. It's open 16:00–24:00 Monday to Thursday and Sunday, and 16:00–01:00 Friday and Saturday. If you park in the Artfore underground car park, you get 4 hours free.

What is the atmosphere like inside Jazz 257?

Jazz 257 is in Artfore in Songdo, so it was easy to get to. If you drive, the Artfore underground car park gives you 4 free hours, so you can take your time with dinner and the show!

Once inside, I loved the soft lighting and the upscale interior. It's great for a glass of wine and fits a date perfectly. Maybe that's why I saw a lot of people there on blind dates or celebrating anniversaries.

This is the Jazz 257 menu! This time we ordered a stone steak (₩49,000) and 2 glasses of house red wine (₩15,000 each).

How does the Jazz 257 house red wine taste?

The house red at Jazz 257 has a subtle aroma and isn't overpowering, so it went really well with the steak 💛 Wine is mine.... 🩵

The cake was a birthday present from my friend, since it was my birthday hehe 💛❤️🧡💜🩵

You can taste the deep flavor typical of red wine, but the tannins aren't strong, so I think even people who don't drink wine often could enjoy it easily! Drinking wine in such a nice space was just so good 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Jazz 257 stone steak: the fire show and the taste

The stone steak (₩49,000) at Jazz 257 was brought to our table by a staff member who did a fire show right there, and it was so spectacular that everyone's eyes were on it. 🔥

The steak looks insane, right???? hahaha The meat was tender too, and the juices burst out with the very first bite 😭😭😭😭

It was tasty on its own, but dipping it in the wholegrain mustard sauce served alongside brought out even more of the meat's flavor. I can see why so many people recommend it as a Songdo steak spot.

How was the live jazz show at Jazz 257?

While we were eating, the live jazz show I'd been looking forward to the most began 💜 Hearing them play and sing right in front of us made it feel like being at a concert hall, hehe 💙

Jazz, wine and delicious food all together made me so happy 😭😭😭😭 It's not just a place to eat; being able to enjoy music too is what I think makes Jazz 257 special!

Is Jazz 257 a good birthday or anniversary date course in Songdo?

The atmosphere at Jazz 257 is so good that I really want to recommend it as a date course. Visiting on a special day like year-end, Christmas, a birthday or an anniversary would make even better memories, I think. I was so happy with this visit that I'd like to come back during the Christmas season or for an anniversary.

It was a time of tasty steak and wine, plus a sweet jazz performance, all in a lovely space! 💙 If you're looking for a restaurant with a nice atmosphere in Songdo, I recommend Jazz 257. It's close to Central Park too, so a walk after the meal is lovely, and it was just right as a date course 🩵
