I wanted to write a review after enjoying the foot bath and shoulder massage at Anma Jogyok Cafe Jeonmang, a café in Jeonju Hanok Village. I'd wanted to visit ever since coming to Jeonju before, and finally had time on a weekday to make it happen.
This is a Jeonju Hanok Village café that's even been on TV, and it's special because you can enjoy a foot bath while looking out at the hanok village view — great for healing. It's nice to go alone, and I think parents would be very satisfied too.
You can enjoy a 30-minute aroma foot bath along with a shoulder massage and a drink, and since the drink is free, it's great value. Foot bath + shoulder massage + drink is ₩15,000, so you can relax cost-effectively for 30 minutes.
It's been featured on several broadcasts, so since it's famous, I'd recommend expecting a wait on weekends.
Since it's on the 2nd floor of the building, I went up the stairs.
There were chairs next to the stairs, so you can sit comfortably and wait there.
Inside the café: seating and slippers
I went straight into the shop, and luckily there was an open seat, so I was seated right away and changed into slippers from the shoe cabinet.
There were kids' slippers too, so it's a good place to bring children along.
For the overall impression, there's a row of chairs lined up along the window, with foot bath machines in front of them. The view was beautiful from any seat — a quiet place to relax and unwind, so I think I'll come back next time I'm in Jeonju.

What a 30-minute peppermint aroma foot bath is like
Once you sit down, they give you a blanket and acupressure sticks. It had been a while since I'd used acupressure sticks — they're good for relieving hand fatigue, and there's also a hand massager you can use for an extra charge.
The water was already prepared in advance, so I could start the foot bath right away, which saved time. Following the instructions, I pushed my chair forward toward the foot bath machine and put my feet in.
Then the foot bath began right away — you can choose whichever aroma you want, and I picked peppermint, which is good for reducing swelling.
This is the hanok village view I saw while soaking my feet — quietly sipping my drink while enjoying the scenery felt like real healing.
The foot bath runs for 30 minutes, and since the shoulder massager runs at the same time, it's great for releasing full-body fatigue. It was surprising and amazing that just 30 minutes of a foot bath could be this healing!
Free burdock tea and the 1,000 won review discount
The drinks are free — options include Americano, mosi-leaf tea, persimmon leaf mint tea, burdock tea, and iced tea. I asked for burdock tea, which is good for dieting. You could choose iced or hot, and there was no extra charge.
If you take part in the review event, you can get a ₩1,000 discount, and you can also buy massagers or foot bath machines at a discounted cash price.
Shoulder massager and the foot cream finish
The shoulder massage is given separately, and it runs for 15 minutes — if it stops, just press the power button again.
After finishing the 30-minute foot bath, I found foot cream waiting behind me so I could moisturize too! This was my first time at a foot bath café, and sipping tea while enjoying the hanok village view during the foot bath was true healing.
There are plenty of seats, and every seat has a view of the hanok village, so I think it would make a great date spot or a trip for treating your parents. Next time I bring my parents to Jeonju, I definitely want to take them here.
