Lately there are days when I can eat lunch carelessly but absolutely cannot slack on dessert. Cake especially... that's non-negotiable territory haha. I went out to Suwon Station area after a while, and after lunch I wanted something sweet, and lately I've been craving that moist, soft fresh cream cake so badly.

So naturally I went searching again... scrolling through cake spots near Suwon City Hall Station, one place kept catching my eye — Diaz Cake Boutique! Apparently it's famous as a Suwon dessert cake spot, known for its fruit cream cake piled high with fruit and its fresh strawberry cream cake loaded with strawberries. Looking at the visuals, I can kind of see why it's famous...

Anyway, 'boutique'... doesn't the name alone already give off a 'this place is serious about cake' vibe?? Is it just me... you don't just slap 'boutique' onto anything, right?^^??

Diaz Cake Boutique is located near Suwon City Hall Station, so it's pretty accessible! There are quite a few good restaurants nearby too, so it's easy to stop by along the way, and it's also a fine spot to visit just for dessert without much hassle.

The moment I walked in, I just got this feeling — oh, this place is serious about dessert haha. Look at those flashy visuals... ugh, how am I supposed to resist....ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

Overall it's clean but somehow feels laser-focused on dessert, which just built up my expectations even more...ㅠㅠ The moment I saw the cake display case, I knew — yep, my wallet's opening today^-^... game already over.... I bet everyone in Suwon gets their anniversary cakes from Diaz... I know I would.

The visuals just make it feel like a loss if you don't buy something haha, how do you even resist,,, can't hold back~~~~~~ On one side they even had birthday candles and cute little animal-shaped candles ready, perfect for a surprise party haha.

10 kinds of tea and baked goods at Diaz Cake Boutique

There's a wide variety of drinks too, but I was especially surprised that there are as many as 10 kinds of tea,, of course a dessert boutique should pair with tea,,, and besides that there are set menus and baked goods like financiers too!!!!

True to a boutique cake shop, the interior is really elegant~ Further inside there are more seats available!! It was full of customers so I couldn't take photos there ㅇㅇ Even on a weekday it was such a hot spot... Diaz Cake Boutique... By the way, there's a Cafe Diaz on the 4th floor ㅇㅇ.

The peach parfait: 40 minutes to make, and what's inside

Anyway, what I ordered this time was this peach parfait!! Peaches are in season, right? How could I resist~~~ But it took exactly 40 minutes to make.. actually just over 40 minutes; wow... a peach parfait crafted stitch by stitch by a true artisan....

Still, if it's delicious, I forgive it.. okay let me try a bite first?????//?

It's delicious.. haha On top there's plenty of generously piled fresh peach, then vanilla ice cream, and soft sweet whipped cream with stewed peach underneath.

An endless blessing of peaches... ㅜㅜㅜㅠㅠㅠㅠ so good,,,

Why the fig parfait is off the menu

Ah... swallowing my drool, in the still-hot weather nothing beats a seasonal fruit parfait after all. There was a fig parfait on the menu too, but they said it's out of season so I couldn't order it.. tears.. then take it off the menu, please..ㅠㅠㅠㅠ sob,,,,

40 minutes to arrive, 3 minutes to finish eating.. anyway, if you're looking for a good cake spot near Suwon City Hall Station, I recommend Diaz Cake Boutique ㅇㅇㅇ.
