Suwon café with big tables for diary decorating: Café Meomureum
Café Meomureum is a bakery and dessert café on the 2nd floor of Dongsin Complex Mall in Jeongja-dong, Suwon. On a weekend afternoon, the wide tables were ideal for spreading out a diary for dakku (Korean diary decorating) over a strawberry banana smoothie, bokja (peach and plum) fresh fruit juice, salt bread, apple pie and homemade butter rice cake — the butter rice cake was the favorite. Café Meomureum is a quiet place to sit and journal, and it works just as well with a child in tow.
