Today I visited Bas Burger Jamwon Branch, a great handmade burger place near Nonhyeon Station :)

Bas Burger Jamwon Branch is open daily from 10:30 to 21:00. There's no parking, but takeout (discounted), delivery and reservations are all available. 🧸It's introduced as a burger spot so addictive that even Yoo Jae-suk approved of it 🧸

There's a kiosk outside the shop, so ordering is easy~
The bar seats connect to the inside, so you can eat while looking out at the street. There are more seats on the side. It was already past lunchtime, but there were quite a lot of customers.
You can also order inside the shop, but the owner looked busy with all the orders.
Unlimited James Gam potato chips at the self zone
On one side of Bas Burger Jamwon Branch there's a self zone with potato chips, sauces and bottled water. ⭐️ The James Gam potato chips are unlimited refills ⭐️
These are seriously good!!! Crispy, and if you eat them without thinking, I could finish a whole tub 😁
Sprinkle on the salt and pepper next to them and they get even better, salty with a strong peppery aroma. Dipped in ketchup they're insanely good too 🍟🥔🍟
How many self-serve sauces are there?
What I like about Bas Burger is that you can pick sauces to your taste. There are 7 in total: ketchup, mayonnaise, BBQ, honey mustard, house sauce, ranch and myeongnan mayo (pollock roe mayo).
Each menu item lists its country of origin in detail, and the owner even thinks about allergens for customers with allergies. Best owner ever 👍🏻
After ordering, I was given a vibrating buzzer.

James Gam potato chips
If you eat in, there are unlimited, delicious potato chips. I'm here for these chips at Bas Burger!!! 🫶🏻 Thin potatoes are fried in oil so they stay crispy and warm, just like freshly made chips. Please sprinkle on salt and pepper!!!!
6 sauces
These are the 6 sauces I picked. I was curious about all of them, so I just grabbed them 😋 They were good drizzled on the burger and good for dipping the sides.
After about 10 minutes of waiting, my order came out.
It looks absolutely delicious 🤍 It's a lot of food for one person, but there were so many things I wanted to eat that I ordered them all without realizing, haha.
How were the sides at Bas Burger?
Onion rings
The onion rings (₩3,500) were crunchy outside, moist inside and very sweet. They're good any time, aren't they? haha Can you feel the crunch from the photo~?
Sweet potato fries
Since there are already potato chips, it seemed like there'd be overlap, so I swapped the set's fries for sweet potato fries (+₩1,500).
And these were a real treat~⭐️ Addictive in a different way from regular fries. Highly recommend.
Mozzarella bites 2pc
The mozzarella bites 2pc (₩6,500) feel like a cheese pork cutlet? Super plump and crispy! Inside, it was packed with mozzarella, and the outside was meat wrapped around it and fried. The cheese stretched from the very first bite and it was so good 🥹 Another one I recommend 🫶🏻
What does the Hawaiian burger at Bas Burger taste like?
The Hawaiian burger has a beef patty, cheddar cheese, low-sodium bacon, butterhead lettuce, house sauce and a grilled pineapple slice. I've had Bas Burger before but never the Hawaiian burger 🫢 Is it like a Hawaiian pizza~?
From the outside it doesn't look very different. By the way, the house sauce is already included by default. (I didn't know and added more, haha)
I usually love Hawaiian pizza, so I really enjoyed it. A bite of the salty patty with sweet grilled pineapple works so well together, you know? If you don't like grilled pineapple, it's a shame though,,, 🍍
