Yeongtong burger joint in Suwon: window solo seat, shrimp rings, 666

This is my solo lunch at 666 Burger Main Branch, a well-known handmade burger place in Suwon. I hear 666 Burger grills its 100% Korean beef patties the moment you order. Here's my 666 Burger Main Branch review, let's go~

Where is 666 Burger Main Branch, and where can you park?

666 Burger Main Branch is at 112 Maeyeong-ro, Yeongtong-gu, Suwon, a little way up toward Gwanggyo from Samsung Electronics and Samsung Electro-Mechanics in Yeongtong. I parked in the shop parking lot inside Baekja Apartment behind the restaurant, and when I visited around 1 p.m. on a weekday there were 3–4 free spots.

Solo seating and atmosphere at 666 Burger Main Branch

The red-and-white shop catches your eye from far away. There are about 5 solo seats facing the window, perfect for eating alone, and true to its reputation as a Maetan-dong solo-dining favorite, the view from the solo seats is the best.

The main hall has a self-bar, about 6 four-person tables and high chairs for little ones. The window four-person tables were occupied, so I couldn't photograph them~ The guests were mothers in their 40s and 50s, and seeing them eat at a handmade burger place looked so hip! haha

At 666 Burger Main Branch you order at a kiosk and pay by card. Next to the kiosk there's also a separate printed menu showing menu names, combos and prices at a glance, so use whichever you find easier~

Why I picked the grilled chicken Texas Red burger over beef

666 Burger is famous for its tasty beef patties, but I've already had the beef burger by delivery (it was delicious), so this time I picked the Texas Red burger set with a grilled chicken patty. For the side, shrimp rings🍤 They also sell a limited October menu, the Halloween Bear Burger~ So cute haha🐻🍔

For the set's soft drink you can choose Coke, Coke Zero or Sprite, and I went with Coke Zero!

Since it's a handmade burger made to order, it takes a little while~ But fresh-off-the-grill fillings with a fluffy bun are worth waiting for💕

How did the Texas Red burger set and shrimp rings taste?

Texas Red burger, small fries, Coke Zero and shrimp rings made a generous solo spread. The burger was loaded with fillings, and even though the fries were size S, the portion was substantial.

The 666 Burger Texas Red is a spicy-yet-light handmade burger with a spicy grilled chicken patty, topped with grilled onion, romaine, pickles and tomato, and flavored with onion sauce and sriracha sauce.

First, the bun was fluffy and soft and went well with the fillings, and I liked that the patty wasn't greasy. The grilled onion was the kick! It had a nice bite while being sweetly cooked, and the combo with the sauce was so good.

The burger is seriously thick, so you end up chomping away... since I'm eating alone, I can do it more comfortably and boldly haha

I loved sitting at the window seat and eating alone at leisure~ It was a bit after lunchtime, but delivery riders kept coming and quite a few people came to eat solo. A true Suwon handmade burger favorite, I'll give it that!

The Texas Red burger alone is big enough to leave you full and satisfied. But~ you can't skip the sides at a burger place!

666 Burger fries: thick-cut and lightly salted

666 Burger turned out to be a great side-dish place. The freshly fried fries and the shrimp rings were both amazing. Unlike the fries at other franchise burger chains, they're cut thick, so they soak up less oil and you really taste the fluffy potato, which I liked.

The basic salting is light, so on their own they taste mild, and with ketchup or hot sauce they balance out nicely. I like mild flavors, so I enjoyed them as they are, with the pure potato taste~

666 Burger shrimp rings: my number one pick

The 666 Burger shrimp rings are my number 1 menu item🥇 They're packed with minced shrimp, so it felt like eating a whole-shrimp fritter. There's plenty of pepper too, so it isn't greasy at all and is just so good... The seasoning is spot on, and with only a minimal amount of flour and frying batter, it was light and delicious.

The inside of a shrimp ring💕 If I come back, I'm definitely ordering the shrimp rings. Wow... I feasted on handmade burgers for the first time in a while. Easy parking, plus takeout and delivery, that's 666 Burger! Please give it a try👍
