Ingye-dong BBQ brunch with buckwheat naengmyeon: Jipbul Taebaek

Jipbul Taebaek Suwon Ingye Branch is a charcoal-seared, rice-straw-smoked Korean BBQ restaurant on Nahyeseok-geori near Suwon City Hall Station in Ingye-dong. Arriving at the 11:30am opening with a friend, the writer ordered two servings of galbisal (boneless short rib) and buckwheat bibim naengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodles in spicy sauce), and the highlights were staff grilling every piece from start to finish and the house sauce with neungi mushroom and wasabi. For proper smoky meat without touching the tongs, Jipbul Taebaek Suwon Ingye Branch is worth the early visit.
