Is this really a café in Yeoksam? Roastery Stan Yeoksam Main is seriously huge. There's air-conditioned indoor seating, and also a half-indoor, half-outdoor terrace area with tables that feels almost like an open-air setup.

The vibe is somehow hip and cool — like the kind of place that makes you feel like you've turned into a proper MZ generation kid.

This time I ordered an iced americano, an iced café latte, and a gold kiwi sando. My office on Wednesdays doesn't have black coffee.

So I hadn't had my morning coffee and was seriously craving caffeine. I got a little too excited placing my order lol. Two cups of coffee plus a sweet fruit dessert — just looking at it made me happy. ☕🥝

So I ended up pairing it with the iced latte instead, and it was delicious — since the latte isn't sweet, it went really well with the sando.

I'm not great with rich food, and sweets are actually what I handle the least. So I actually liked the sando's moderate sweetness, and thought it matched well with the smooth iced latte. If you personally prefer coffee's smoother side over its bitterness, the iced café latte would suit you well. Though of course, feelings about milk vary person to person!

Drinking it cold made it easy to enjoy even on a hot day, and it paired nicely with the gold kiwi sando too. The gold kiwi tucked between the soft bread looked appetizing, and with the first bite you get that tangy-sweet gold kiwi flavor. The soft sweetness of the kiwi, the cream, and the fluffy bread came together better than I expected.

It was also a great dessert to have alongside coffee. Pairing it with the iced americano in particular worked really well — the coffee cleanly cut through the sando's sweetness, so I kept reaching for more. Even with two cups of coffee, it was surprisingly filling as a meal. The sando I had at lunch kept me full all the way through the evening.
